Glad that the new doc is responsive and bumping you up as a priority, hopefully the immune specialist can provide more treatment options. Most MS meds fight inflammation / deplete B cells - perhaps they are an option. My MS diagnosis this year was also after C19 infection, wasn't too sick either but have seen it may reactivate EBV that can also enter the CNS due to slightly confused / weakened immune system. Once in CNS the immune system may fight the EBV hiding there... at least that is the rudimentary theory I have heard of. Wishing you both all the best.
Even when you're in the shit, laughing and seeing what little things you can control does help. Your sense of humor about the whole situation is awesome, you guys, and it is beneficial in a lot of ways. Great to see! Hopeful about the pending escalation to doctors who will actually take you and their job seriously!
As fucked up as this is-it’s still fucked up, but there is something to be said about you twins going through it together. You would be there for each other no matter what, but…. I don’t know what I’m trying to say. You lived it together, you’ll heal together and you’ll laugh together years and years from now. Godspeed
omg, I don't think I could love you two more . . . you both are so adorable! lol, you have me cracking up over here. Watching you two interact just warms my heart and I know your mother has got to be very proud of you both. Tell her she did a great job raising you! I am rooting for you and praying for your whole family. I cannot wait to see you finally on the road to recovery. We will all rejoice. :)
I know how demoralizing it can be to hit dead end after dead end in a healthcare system that keeps dismissing your problems. Glad you finally found a physician who’s getting you proper care. She sounds awesome!
So emotional to see you both struggling but to know you finally have some validation. Such hope. I'm desperate for this to lead to the right treatment for you both. ❤
So glad you're finally seeing people who are taking you seriously and I hope you're better soon! Also I'm so impressed by how emotionally mature you guys are.
2023 will be a turn around year for you both. You’ve both come a long way and seems like you’re about to start getting the help you need. I look forward to the next update 😎💫
Tough to hear y’all are still dealing with this but sounds like momentum is building in the right direction. Continuing to wish y’all a speedy recovery.
So glad to hear you've been able to access a doctor that validates your thoughts on your illness. This could be the start of both of your major recoveries. I hoping all the specialists you end up working with at Utah surpass both of your expectations. Battling rarer chronic illnesses is a real psychological battle. It's great that you have each other to relate to while going through this struggle. Keeping you two in my thoughts. We will all heal!
Congrats on the progress and good news dudes! I live in the SLC area and have always heard good things about the university docs! Continuing to send y’all positive vibes!
I will miss these brother conversations when you guys heal. I look forward to being disappointed though, no one deserves this special kind of suffering you two are going through.
I love the fact y'all are not giving up. That's what it's going to take. I still recommend y'all call / visit Dr. Michael Hoffer down at the University of Miami.
Wait are y'alls noses slightly different or is it just the lighting? Great now I'm gonna have to go back to previous videos to scope out the nose differences I'm seeing, I was only seeing jawline but now I'm second guessing and possibly seeing a few more differences. These videos with both of you are either making it easier or more confusing 🤣
Zyprexa causes MAJOR weight gain. I try to avoid prescribing it at all costs. If it’s the ONLY thing that works for you and you’re gaining weight, look into Lybalvi. I would tell a family member to discuss options other than Zyprexa with your doctor. Be careful and stay watchful of the weight gain.
