The way they shot this scene is the epitome of a romance movie. I don’t care what anyone says. I felt the characters relief of their love coming together. This was great cinematography!!!!!

I heard about this movie before I didn't want to see it but then I watched it and I really like it is not the best, it has a lot of modern beliefs, but also has scenes where you can feel what they are feeling I recomend to watch it

they had Cosmo Jarvis with his wonderfully deep voice... and they let the person putting on the awful fake accent read one of the most romantic letters in the history of literature. IT'S FUCKING CRIME! thank god for the Ciarán Hinds reading in 1995. that shit is swoon worthy.

I did love it!!! It’s a beautiful version of persuasion, and it has a little of fun you know!! It’s not boring at all, I love it. And believe me I don’t like that many movies. But this one YES I DID 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘

I’ve read Jane Austen and I know why people don’t like this movie, but I loved this version and personally I prefer this one over the 2007 adaption. It’s just a movie, some like it, some don’t. I hate carrot salad, you love it

I’m pretty confident Jane Austen would think you are ridiculous. She didn’t think of herself as god and I hardly think she would be so mortally wounded knowing her work was adapted in such a way that it had a bit of a different vibe. I think she probably would have quite liked it in fact. She wasn’t a stuffy old bitty with a stick up her ass after all.

I heavily disliked the fourth wall breaks of this movie but this scene with this SONG was perfect. I didn't read the book so i don't have a reference point, but I adore the way they collided - no words, just a look - their hands - forehead touches - the hugging - I thought it was perfect.

This was so painful to watch. Racial actors hired for quotas and propaganda. The cast is horrible, no chemistry at all between the two protagonist. A disaster !
