Uhhh yes I could help but love her. I hated her guts. One of my favorite scenes was her getting buried alive. My only regret was that it didn't happen sooner. She deserved to die a horrible, painful death.
Except in real life it wouldn't be 1 on 1. Once Allie got up and jumped Joan from behind it would have been 'Stacks on". Every woman who was a fighter would have all gone in together. Joan would've been ripped apart.... But that does little for a characters arc, especially one as magnificent as Joan Ferguson.
Joan was automatically my favorite as soon as she showed up first episode. She’s one of the best characters and a total badass. She always had me on the edge of my seat. The actress is amazing. I love when she looks at someone and says “Ha” lol
I so was on the edge of my seat watching Joans scenes! You never knew what to expect! She takes her acting to such a level where you see the fire& compassion that she has within. Definitely my favorite! I'm mesmerized by her talent& grateful she shares it with everyone!❤

This scene is like supercrazy ..Joan is just a terrific dark vulnerable character all rolled up in one ...Allie sure made a fool of herself here .....🥴
Absolutely brutal, a prisoner taking no prisoners - she sat everyone down quite literally. Hats off Pamela, you absolutely killed this scene (along with a few of the inmates as well!).
True but at the same time, each and every one of the cast brought something to the table! But Ferguson was the best tv villain in a long time, no one could have played Ferguson other than THEE Pamela rabe 🙌🏼

She saw Allie coming because eshe wa son guard and is smart enough to watch the faces apurnd her. Ghost before her reacted to allies running up so she knew. She followed their reactions. To take someone smart you d have to be ready for it and have everyone knowing ahead of time not to look behind Ferguson This is the most animal thing g I think I ve ever seen. A beast.
i remember when i first watched this scene and i was thinking oh great she's going to get beaten up, i was so glad that she flipped the script and beat them all up, she is an amaizng villian, whether you love her or hate wentworth wouldn't have been as good without her facts
I'm surprised she hasn't made Hollywood,one of the best actresses I've seen,shed make a mad horror character forget the boogie man he's a saint compared to the freak,gotta love her

Pamela Rabe made Ferguson real enough for me. She's brilliantly psychotic, calculating, and so terrifying she could make a dog wet itself. Easily one of my most favourite TV villains ever
She's the reason i love the show even more. She's such a great fucking actress. The way she remain calm in every situation under pressure is badass. She can be a great protagonist and a great antagonist, not everyone is skilled to do that.
I don’t think there has been enough of that in this final series. Episode 5 has been better but want to see the Freak vs Rita or the Freak vs Kelly or Rita vs Kelly. Only five episodes left 😑 and it’s been very slow.
I agree we’re 5 episodes in and only 2 fights (boomer) happened I think they want to keep us in suspense when something really does go down all Ferguson spoilers have been hushed anyway
