I have siblings and aldo I also think the feedback they got was exaggerated I see where it comes from and kinda agree with it, which is them telling Matt how to express himself and to change the way he speaks. I can't speak for Matt but it would definitely make me withdraw from the conversation and hurt my feelings. I would never tell my siblings to stop mumbling or to comment on how loud they speak in an exaggerated manner unless they were doing it on purpose to mess with me, which is understandable, and they would never do that to me. Hell even tho I didn't speak the most coherently as a kid my sister was a person that always got what I was saying. Again I am not saying it's this situation, but it really seemed like Chris and Nick just wanted Matt to speak the way they feel confident and comfortable in, while it was just not the comfortable way for him. Ultimately it's not really important and it's probably smth small in the grand skim of their lives, but yeah it's annoying for people to victimize Matt and calling his brothers ab**ive when it's clearly an exaggeration of the century.

Nope, i have 4 sisters and I was a twin. They were too harsh on matt.

People have to deal with the mean world they shouldnt have to come home to people who are suppose to love them and deal with it there too.

I totally agree with you! People overreacted a lot about this. Also Chris Matt and Nick are living and working together, Matt already said that sometimes he needs a break from them lol I think he likes to be alone sometimes like he needs his space and it’s fine! I agree he would just tell them later if he felt bad or they would realize it, they love each other and always say they’re connected in a different way because they’re triplet brothers. They also always said they get over those stuff quickly, and I think that being basically 24 hours with someone when you have such different personalities as they do can lead to fights. I related so much with Matt in this video but I see this as normal behavior from them and not that big of a deal

Also we don't know what is going on on their life when they're not filming so we can't juged them and hate them. We know they love eachother and wouldn't do anything without the 3 of them.

i really do think siblings are just like that, i have 2 brothers and one sister and when we are pissed at each other we do everything to make the other annoyed. my friends families are like that too and so are adults. it really is a dynamic

but i do get what you are saying cause im the only introvert and person with anxiety in my family and i get treated like matt did in this video often

I think the issue is Matt is a little sensitive which is ok and maybe the other two should tone it down for him but i feel like people are overreacting when they say they pick on Matt because Chris and Nick are way meaner to each other but they both respond by laughing it off and moving on or by firing back in a playful way which Matt cant do. and that's the only reason it seems as if they pick on him but they really don't. They are way worse to each other but its not noticeable because of the way they react. I've just watched a one of their car video and Nick and Matt were basically telling Chris he needs to stfu the whole time but Chris did not take it to heart and so there was no one in the comments going "awww poor Chris" cause he doesn't react the way Matt does

@@rooc2784 ... did you even read my comment? the difference between telling chris to shut up vs telling matt to shut up is they actually still let chris talk and yap all he wants. i disagree that chris and nick are "way meaner" to each other. whenever matt "fires back" or just gets frustrated with not being able to speak/being shit on, he's "miserable matt", "tuff matt" "negative matt", etc. chris and nick definitely have a double standard where they can say anything they want to matt, but the second he gives them the same energy back they lose their minds. prime example, chris saying matt's comment was "the most hurtful thing ever said in this podcast room" after he and nick had been laying into matt unprovoked for the past 15-20 minutes. there was truly nothing "playful" about this podcast episode at all.

@anniekarenina wdym "did you even read my comment" who elses comment do you think i read. The reason why they "let him speak" is because he keeps talking anyways same with Nick. Matt when told to stop talking, stops talking. Matt when they talk over him either makes a weak attempt of regaining their attention, stops talking all together or tries to wait. The other two in that same situation don't, they carry on or speak on top of each other until one of them grabs the others attention and they start listening. In fact Chris and Nick interrupt each other all the time but it's the way they handle it that makes it not glaringly obvious. Again that's the difference. They don't shut down the way Matt does. I've watched so many of their videos and and it's usually Nick and Chris at eachothers throats (jokingly) and if you don't see that then I can't help you. Also Matt was on the defensive and so him "joking" wasn't in the same light hearted way, he was genuinely pissed. It's fine for Matt to be defensive and not like the type of banter the other two have and again maybey they should have backed off a little but it donst mean Nick and Chris particularly "target" Matt, it's just their personality. Also I don't understand how anyone with a sibling could ever look at this and genuinely get into their feels about a sibling teasing another and pissing each other off. My siblings would do much worse and piss me off way more than this on a daily basis and we're still really close. I was laughing the whole episode thinking of me and my siblings and the way we fught cause its never as deep as everyone is making it to be

@@rooc2784i mean, "did you even read my comment, because it's as if you missed everything i said entirely". did you also just totally miss the part in this literal episode where matt doesn't let nick interrupt him and nick talks over him anyway and goes "oh my god he's still talking..." like?? and then when matt calmly and rationally explained why that's frustrating, nick said some insulting and deeply hypocritical things. matt can't win no matter what he does. he was "on the defensive" because he came in ready to film a podcast episode about a topic that he was excited about and clearly meant a lot to him, and then immediately started receiving nonstop negative comments from both of the other two out of nowhere. they were intentionally pushing his buttons and then acting surprised when he got angry. throwing rocks and then hiding their hands. and then calling him names like "negative matt" for being understandably annoyed. that's not being "sensitive". i know chris and nick are frequently at each other's throats, but that doesn't negate my point about double standards at all - chris and nick can take it from each other, but, as i said, they CANNOT take it from matt, as i explained above. and i'm so unbelievably over the "siblings" excuse, everyone defending chris and nick acts like no one who is critical of their behaviour has siblings. over 80% of the world's population has siblings, the people who commented on that video fully understand, it's a huge cope to think that they're ALL only children. i have two siblings. i don't know how anyone with a sibling could ever look at this and not feel the palpable tension and just laugh. after chris yelled at matt that he was a "negative piece of shit" matt basically didn't talk (or even get a chance to contribute) after that, they just totally excluded him from the conversation for the rest of the episode. not funny at all. it's one thing to fight with your siblings - this was not an argument, it was very one-sided on chris and nick's part, which is why it was so unpleasant to watch. it's also another thing to post those types of sibling "fights" on the internet for everyone to see. also, i haven't just watched "so many" of their videos, i've literally seen all of them at least once - there has been a noticeable shift in the way matt is treated over the past several months, and if you don't see that, then i can't help you. sometimes things are that deep, but some people don't understand that because they're unobservant and lack empathy.

@anniekarenina again, Matt "let" Nick talk over him and wasn't aggressive. The whole point of what I'm saying is Matt is passive, Chris and Nick aren't. Put the other two in the exact same situation they wouldnt have reacted the way Matt did. Talking about "Matt rationally and calmly explained", yah, that's exactly it. That's not what the other two would have done. He's treated the same. it's just that he doesn't work the same. In fact, imo they are generally softer with him but sometimes not gentle enough for him (thats ok, thats his personality, nothing wrong with not liking that). Also, I never said their comments are encouraging to Matt. In fact, I think the opposite, which is precisely why I said it may be helpful if Chris and Nick toned it down sometimes. Also, again, I never criticized Matt for being defensive. He doesn't like that type of banter, and that's fine. Again he's allowed to not like it. I said that the "joke" Matt made wasn't received as well as the other jokes because he was in defense mode. Also Nick and Chris have taken it from Matt and it's funny because people love it. Matt is usually passive and when he makes jokes like that. everyone loves it, including Chris and Nick, as I've seen in so many of their car videos. It's always like "sassy Matt," and everyone enjoys it when he does it and it's not stemming from something he's genuinely really upset about like in this video. The only thing is that he rarely does it (hence why everyone loves it when he does and encourage him) and sometimes when he does he's really upset about something so the vibes are different and it's not taken in the same way like in this video. There's quite a few moment I can think of when Matt is being aggressive or "sassy" and Chris and Nick are loving it and lauging with him or at themselves at something Matt light heartedly critized them for. In fact in a lot of these analysis videos, everyone generally agrees that they both do have soft spot for Matt and that they aren't as aggressive with him. Sibling dynamics are so different. I never said everyone critizing the two dont have siblings, i said i don't understand how they see this and get so mad conseidering how siblings often behave with each other and how differnt sibling dynamics are. I was laughing at this not because i didn't think Matt was genunly upset but because I feel like I've been in each one of them shoes including Matt and it's funny looking at other siblings behaving the same way my sibling and I do. It's just what siblings do and its different from any other type of relationship. All my siblings once ganged up on me, i have 6 siblings all yelling at me telling me im being dramatic about something and I fell asleep crying but we were best friends again the next day because thats just how it works. They piss me off all the time and yes being called a "piece of shit" at least between my sibling and I would be something I'd forget by the next day. I think people on the outside have no business getting so riled up about other siblings' business.

THIS BRO ppl are acting like everyone who is bugged by it is a hater and doesn’t get that siblings argue but as a viewer sometimes it’s frustrating when you actually want to listen to what Matt’s saying and he gets criticized. It’s starting to feel like a majority of videos it happens. It’s not that deep if it happens in their daily lives obviously but if we’re watching a car video or pod where you expect everyone to add to the discussion and one person is always cut off it gets kind of annoying. But still love them❤

but that's you and your siblings choice, and that's okay. sibling dynamics aren't a one size fit all, we can't assume what happened before the podcast, for all we know Matt may have done something, and I think its very unfair to assume nick and Chris had absolutely no reason for what they were saying. not to mention, nick didn't really do much, after the first 20 minutes and seeing that Matt was upset he told Chris not to say anything to Matt and literally said he was avoiding saying anything, so they obviously have self awareness and know each other more than we do because, guess what, they literally developed in their mother's womb together for 9 months, and grew up in the same house for 20 years together. I promise you guys that Matt will be fine without the constant infantilization, and regardless of your opinion, Matt has already made a tiktok video with nick talking about this exact issue (nick said that its dumb when people act like they know Matt more Than him and that they're bullying him and Matt was literally in the video with him agreeing...) y'all are dragging it fr. Its not even an ongoing thing. Watch the blind mute and deaf challenges and see how harsh Matt was and everyone attacking him; they all have their moments, because they are human and won't treat each other perfectly all the time, especially considering this isn't too far from their normal dynamic we've seen on camera. REGARDLESS, they made it evident that they love and care about each other (from what we see because AGAIN we don't know them or their whole life, we literally only saw an hour of what was obviously ongoing from before they started filming as Matt said himself) and based off of that we can assume that Matt is a grown man who can defend himself, and yes he seemed upset but AGAIN we don't know what happened before the cameras were on. Don't watch if you don't like it, but that's your problem, not theirs.
