Thanks to your video I was able to extend the ladder to store it properly in my garage, conserving a lot of space! It was such an annoyance to me for so long -- I am a widow and I have arthritis; it's difficult for me to do some of these tasks. Usually when I try to fix something the minute I touch it it goes "BOING" and I break it. Not this time --because your video made it easy! Thanks again!

Thanks for this and the other one! Very helpful, I think I've decided to get one; now to decide on size! I think the 13 would work for my roof, and the smaller size/weight is nice, but I think I want the 17 just for the scaffolding, as I have to do some work on a wall, over plants. The stability of the second A-frame seems iffy, is that how they recommend attaching it in the instructions? Thanks again!

+Adam Richards It's not as stable as the full ladder as an A frame but it does work well. This was the way that the ladder was designed to become 2 A frames, but you might check the Werner website to see if any updates have been posted.

What would you do for a thirteen or 14 foot straight extension ladder, (from this Werner Muliti Ladder?)...i have squirrels, etc., that keep getting into the attic which i can't get to, that is very high up...Do you have to put those separated ladders together for that...?...(i realize it comes as one ladder)...Is it pretty stable as a long straight ladder...?...There would be no support in the middle if i did that...Thank you...

Could you please tell me does it bent when you climb up it in full length like 17 feet or 22 feet..? I saw a model of Telescopic ladder in amazon. What would you recommend, this one or telescopic one..? :) (Sorry I'm not good in english)

if i want only one ladder, should i go for the 13 or 17?

That really depends on what you are using it for. I personally own the MT-17. Out of the three that are commonly sold, MT-13 MT-17 and MT-22 I find it to be the most versatile. It is tall enough to get to most single story roof lines but isn't too clumsy inside. As you saw the MT-13 can just barely reach a standard roof line, but it is small enough to fit into a car trunk and I know a lot of roof inspectors that use the MT-13 because they can get on a roof and fit it in a car. Contractors that do more exterior work then interior work, or work with lots of homes that have 14' or higher ceiling, will prefer the MT-22. So I hope that helps answer your question.

Hi. How tall will the bigger of the two ladders go in just the A-frame configuration? I need something about 9 feet tall to help get in a attic.

The MT-17 top rung is 80" from the ground as an "A" frame. Of course you are not supposed to use that. If you want specs on all these ladders just go to the Werner website and they list max reach and highest step height along with just about everything. www.wernerco.com/us/en/view/MT-17

These ladders are very versatile. However, they are heavy and the narrow rungs are hard on the feet.

You could not see how far the M-13 extended beyond the roof line.

The M-13 did not extent past the roof line. Well maybe 6 inches. It was just enough to get on the gutter so that you could get up and see the roof. It was stable enough for me to use to get onto the roof, but many people don't feel that would be safe. I recommend the M-13 if you need to transport it inside a car trunk. The M-17 is in my opinion, the most versatile.

Thanks - I thought so - I have the M-13 and half the time it's too short for me to get on a roof - some homes are built on stem walls and that adds a foot or two to the roof edge.
