Gregory Porter is an amazing Jazz artist- nothing but the truth! He’s smooth, soulful and spirited! Thank you, Mr. Porter for uplifting my days and spirits!
Thanks, Wes & Gregory for taking the time to interview and to be interviewed. Initial fav song = Real Good Hands...after that, I’m just besotted. Gregory, keep the velvet voice rolling!
What a wonderful interview. I really appreciated learning more about Gregory's journey and the healing power of music, songwriting, and singing as he does. Masculine vulnerability is an important topic and with a voice like his, it is truly great medicine.
The venue, decor are lovely. This by far has to be my favorite interview! Gregory Porter is not only a great performer but an equally humble and talented individual. I enjoyed his stories about Quincy Jones, The Laws Family but most importantly the wisdom his mother imparted to him "your talent will allow you to sit in the presence of Kings". I must admit I became a little teary-eye when I heard him singing "Up on the Roof". Wes, you are in top form and I am extremely happy that your talent allows you the joy of interviewing such wonderful artists. Once again, you've delivered a TOP NOTCH interview!

When Gregory Porter sings, you HEAR the influences in his life, along w/ & the soundtrack of so many of our lives. Maybe that's what makes his voice both a revelation and a spirit animal to a grown & sexy generation. Wonderful back & forth session. One.
