When you are raised from K-12 on post modern relativism , is it any wonder that life is not respected. Kids are taught that abortion ( the murder of another human being for convenience) is a "right" -the relativism also kills the conscience to all criminal activity if the act benefits self . We should take a look at schools when they were run by the municipalities and states , before the creation of the Dept. Of (mis) Education . I'd wager that you will find greater success, higher rates of graduation , literacy, mathematics , science etc. as well as far less trouble .

Same. I grew up in rural Minnesota. Everyone did gun safety as a kid. I heard fun shots all the time from hunters. Yet city folk think guns are power and scary because they know nothing about them.

I'm 65 years Young, I was brought up and raised around guns since I can remember, my father was in world war 2, the Korean war and in the Vietnam war. He never once hid his guns from us we were always show their power knew what they could do and respected what they could do. I have done the same thing with my children and they are adults now..... All this bullshit that's going on with the Democrats is just a gun grab.... They need to start going after the criminals that have the guns or should I say that get the guns illegally or steal them. I think every school in the United States of America should have at least one armed guard on duty while the children are there, and also the teachers should be able to be armed as well if they wish. Up here in Canada it’s not uncommon for a predator to wander onto your farm while you’re outside playing. As kids we knew the gun wasn’t a toy and what it was to be used for. Now my son knows and I long for the days when this wasn’t such a big deal.

He took out an active shooter shortly after he had started firing in the mall food court.
