Whether you like him or not, one thing is for sure that Mr. Charu Mazumdar's ideology was revolutionary and he did inspired thousands of people of his time. However, like any other revolutionary movement has is draw back and often come to an end as time progress. Movement like this is not linear, on the contrary very complex. Actual principal of the movement often gets diluted once more and more peoples joint the movement. It's shame that he was denied essential medical services at his death bed. Ideological differences shouldn't had been the barrier of getting basic medical services.

My father's maternal uncle who was student of prestigious presidency college Kolkata who could have retired from govt service with huge pension, he chose to fight in nauxal movement, police brutality made his one leg paralyzed. Naxal movement was to initiate armed revolution in India. As far I know wherever these revolutions were succesful, atleast a part of armed forces joined hand with revolutionaries. In naxalbari movement no such strategy was chalked out to involve armed personnels in movement. Innocent police personnels were killed in the name of class enemy but not a single police chief was harmed. People rejected their strategy of killing poor police constables or intellectuals like VC of Jadavpur University.
