(4:37) Are all the departments in and around Denver working 48-hour shifts? How many days do you get off between the two-day shifts? I like the video and I am somewhat jealous of the cot loading and unloading equipment! I wish we had them back in the day.
West Metro works a 48/96 shift- 48 hours on, 96 hours (four days) off. There are some other agencies with the same shift. Others- like Denver- have Kelly days.
@@WestMetroFire But do their Kelly-Days give them the entire 48 hours off or does Denver Fire work 24/48s? Kelly-Days work great with a 24/48 schedule.
