The crisp morning air was invigorating as I set off on the West Orange Trail from Clarcona. The sun was just beginning to paint the sky with hues of orange and pink, casting long shadows across the path. The trail was surprisingly busy for this early hour, filled with runners and cyclists eager to seize the day. The recent storms had left their mark, with a fallen tree temporarily blocking the path, but thankfully, the trail crew had already cleared the obstruction. A scenic ride through Winter Garden and Apopka completed the 39-mile journey, just as the Florida heat began to intensify. It was a perfect start to the weekend.
