Thank you for this beautiful art. It gives me a new perspective on a much-loved building. The West Pier comes from an age where more people were sensitive to beauty, craftsmanship, and the relationship between a building and its environment. We have lost this in our brave new modern world. the new "i360" tower that is going to be erected is nothing more than a mechanistic, unnatural imposition on the landscape of brighton's splendid regency seafront. Long live the West Pier...

I agree with Leanne, this interesting little animation video was like a pleasant dreamlike look into the past that artistically and whimsically caught the essence of the time/yesteryear as it subtly and historically documented the chronological time lapse of the beloved and forever relevant West Pier.

One of my favourite vids I’ve come across here on RU-vid… words can’t describe how this animation made me feel. Simply breathtaking x

@@aytoizzard - it was simply fantastic. I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Truly marvellous. Wish I got to experience the West Pier. I was born in January of 2002 so I never knew what it was like. Wish I did, much like how I wish I got to experience visiting the World Trade Centre❤️
