They stuck 6/6 bar dismounts! Who else has done that?! How do they not have as many tens as other teams….it boggles me. People hate on OU a lot….say they’re overscored….they’re not. 6/6 sticks!
Just because they weren’t over-scored for this one meet, doesn’t mean they aren’t over-scored. Audrey Davis had a wobble on beam where she leaned to the side, and still got a 9.950. Their lunges on floor are not controlled for a lot of the routines, which should be a deduction, but it never is. Every team has overscoring in meets, but Oklahoma does get overscored. Similar routines on other teams don’t get near the scores they do.
it makes me so mad how people always say oklahoma is over scored. of course some routines are over scored but that’s just ncaa. they genuinely have better technique and more depth than any other ncaa team in my opinion and it shows more and more as this season continues
I agree with the commentator who said this was the best she’s seen Jordan’s floor this year. Whenever she does the front tuck usually I feel like she’s going to spin into the floor it’s so low, but this one was great. I think they moved the front tuck to the first pass I’m the big 12 meet and that worked too
She has a back issue that they're managing. My guess is that they'll put her in for postseason, but if not, they evidently have the depth to do fine without her on those events.
OU don't do other difficult vaults like aleah finnegan, Suni, Haleigh just yuchenko. This team have the talents #1 team but they don't do much upgrades and difficulties in their routines ans passes they like to stay where they are safe.
I really don’t understand why you always have something negative to say about every team, except the one of two you root for. They scored a 198.575…. I don’t think they need to change anything lmao
They have 6 10.0 vaults and consistently stick many of them. Who cares what the other teams are doing? Who is ranked number 1? Oh yeah, OU. And guess what, the blind landing is NOT easy!
Anybody else find it disrespectful when gymnasts get too excited and don’t salute? Idk that’s just me, that’s the first thing you learn when you’re a tot lol
Does anyone just not like Danielle Sievers like I do? I don’t know what it is, but I have to immediately skip her routines because of how monotone she normally is with everything.
Not throwing shade on anybody, but there’s no way Audrey Davis should ever be off the floor line up. I thought maybe she got hurt and that’s why she was off the last meet but after them not disclosing any injuries or anything of the sort now I’m pissed. She’s a junior. Why would you take her out of the lineup? Unless she needs rest, then it’s understandable but still.
They mentioned this was their 3rd meet in eleven days (and floor is often the most demanding on a gymnasts body), so they may just be giving her a rest this week in prep for post season.
