I went to West Virginia for the 1st time a year ago, and I was blown away. The people (while I was told they hate outsiders) were incredible, all the food (except at the WVU game) tasted homemade, and the fall scenery looked stunning. I went to the WVU game as I mentioned in Morgantown, went to New River Gorge, and checked out Charleston.

Well done! I've been on these roads many times as I live in Southern Ohio and have worked for newspapers in Huntington and Charleston for nearly 20 years. West Virginia is a beautiful state with great people.

Been to the eastern panhandle of West Virginia a bunch to visit family, but only drove through the heart of the state back in 2019. For someone who's used to more flat roads, I-64 through the mountains was terrifying but also incredibly beautiful. Great video! I'm honored to have been namedropped.

nice speed runs this episode! i’ve been to summit bechtel reserve for bsa national jamboree in 2017. i also recently took a hiking trip to wv where we visited spruce knob high point, seneca rocks, and hiked the north fork mountain trail to chimney top, from what i’ve seen, there’s so much natural beauty in the state!

I grew up in south eastern ohio, and actually shop in Vienna/Parkersburg regularly since that’s the closest mall. I literally screamed when i recognized it! I’m obsessed with geoguessr and want to be pro someday, and I’ve been waiting for the moment where I see a road i’ve been on. Nice job!!!

I grew up and still live in WV, this was great to watch. I recognized two of these right away because I drive one every day to work and I drive the other to see my in laws!

I’ve been to West Virginia a few times. My grandparents live up in the rural mountains there. The landscapes are beautiful!

All of my trips through West Virginia were just that, trips through. But one trip was on Amtrak's Cardinal so I did get to see a lot of out of the way places like Thurmond.

Dang nice couple of rounds! I had a client in a small town in WV once, all I really remember is that it had an oddly good restaurant in it. The drive there from BWI was beautiful too.
