I'm not going to be having any more of this game on my channel, but this is for those that have been asking me to review this game. Hope this answers your questions.
Hi, i am a new subscriber to your channel. I like your videos especially the wild west ones. You are telling everyone what is the best grinding method and the worst grinding method, I appreciate that. You should keep up the good work.
One thing that stands out here is the lack of vegetation or things like that. You might have to travel places for a while in both games, but what makes the wild west stand out is that everything is highly detailed. While westbound is kinda just...low quality terrain building and some occasional grass...makes sense though, westbound is more of a mobile based game
The thing about WB is that it was heavily thrown together with free-models and low-effort. It is 75% stereotypical old west desert and only has that 25% or 1/4 green area in order to have proper wildlife for hunting, as the desert realistically holds few animals, mostly cyotes and a few bison. Infact hunting is probs only a thing cuz TWW had hunting. TWW and WB are the only real open-world western games on ROBLOX, and WB came just a few short months after TWW. And then copied their Halloween update's haunted-manor theme. Graff had a great game, Scuba Diving At Quill Lake, then decided to make this low-effort game to make money, and somehow their community is _still_ loyal and smack-talks TWW regularly. TWW's terrain-building is a sight to behold, and is compared to RDR2 so much because of instead of the stereotypical desert theme, they got expansive countryside, a louisiana-style swamp, a forest with natives, and even SNOWY MOUNTAINS, as well as the Great desert, which is basically a sandbox bowl. It can not be all described with just "its lots of dETAIL" for it's more than that. Detail doesnt always mean quality, it means specific part(s) of a thing/set that make it more than a bland, empty piece. TWW and its terrain was sculped beautifully and decorated wonderfully with custom models. WB was some auto-generated desert-biom that Graff then took a green brush to, slid the size slider to full, and rubbed over one corner with it, then dumped some free-models on top. Add some gamepasses, and you got instant-profit. Then you got SBS revamping the Mauser game pass, the one real gun game pass, because it sucks too much. TWW is anything but pay2win. They don't even care for mobile, as it lacks a crouch button. Its just there cuz its there, not because they made the game with mobile-players in mind. They got a monopoly on that audience via lack of current competition.
@@HANKSANDY69420 you are aware westbound started development before tww? also they have been working on westbound 2 for over a year and if you check out their twitter you can find some insane landscapes
@@SandwichbutWorse First one sounds like cap second point tho, i can believe from the sneak peaks i saw on their twitter but lets be honest the original team didn't make those. that hiring ad makes perfect sense now doesn't it? besides you can't deny what a pay2win free-model cash grab WB is. And WB II isn't an excuse to neglect their game. And those landscapes may be better than the ROBLOX starter pack but TWW probs still wins. It's mostly opinionated but still. Also, it wont matter if that's all they offer. The reason we hype Progression so much is that it's so necessary to give purpose to players in the game. WB only has tiny quests for expensive clothing items. In TWW it's all free. Be creative, we won't beg for money
Grinding in WB is so simulator-y. A large source of ore in one place, in a safezone, and based on chance. Keep mining until you got the best gun in game, which is a stark contrast to the woodchipper-dmg pistol you start out with. And people call TWW's grinding as bad as a simulator? *_LOL!_*
Any update is welcome at this point. I understand that the sbs devs have lives and other things going on. But I mean give us a silenced hammerless revolver or something.
ive played west bound before and i think the cosmestics are pretty cool, i like the premise of buying clothing and getting a little bit more money in return to buy MORE
@@thegunslinger2.034 even TWW players side with WB... it seems the internet loves hating... both WB players and the TWW community love to smack-talk TWW and SBS and Im one of the few to stand up for Tyridge and his game.
Westbound does one thing better than tww, though. The robbing actually gives enough money to be worth it. In tww, it's high risk for low reward. You get $1600 after you fight and escape an entire town.
I mean, until robbing is revamped and buffed, it's mostly for fun, and it's much more fun in TWW than WB. And even in WB mining still rules as the top method of grinding. Also, no bounty grinding CUZ YOU CAN ONLY GO UP TO $300
I will admit this the guns in west bound are more realistic also some other things as well like hunting and how you half to skin animals. Only a few things about West Bound are better than The Wild West.
I like that the drops arent random chance, however, it's not a big deal. The pelt system sounds cool on paper but it brings out the toxic noobs the community hides that purposely ruin pelts when they see hunters.
Actually no, Tyridge poured his heart into The Wild West and the basic map outline and animal models were the few things to survive to the current version. The game is unique. Graff used free models and Westbound barely changed. There's nothing special about it.
