Western Ghats Motorbike Trip - The Great Indian Trail - Nashik to Malshej Ghat - India 

In this episode we travel on from the vineyard in Nashik and hit the Great Indian Trail on the Western Ghats, also known as the GRIT. This is the first half of the day on our rough to Malshej Ghat. We encountered some lovely people in the small village we stopped off at and continued to explore some amazing roads of Maharashtra. There's a few trails and Offroad elements too which kept us on our toes.
The GRIT (Great Indian Trail) formed the backbone of our route and it was a very useful resource. It guides you through the backroads of each state in India and along some cool trails. It was ideal for what we wanted for our Indian Motorbike trip as it allowed for us to stop off in the small Indian Villages and interact with the locals whilst avoiding the crazy highways of India/Maharashtra.
