Ruchir Sharma, I will remember that name. I always used to feel bad when India's image is shown bad in western media, especially BBC. (Intellectually colonized to please and accepted by Westerners) This video helped me in understanding not to give a shit about them.
People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. We think South Asians face discrimination because of skin color, but that is not the case. When you are brown, people think you are from South Asia, and South Asia has a bad image. Many Italians and Middle Easterners have light brown to medium olive bronze tone. But, they don't face discrimination. It's all about image. Even light skin Indians face discrimination. Just tell them you are Indian and attitude changes. West spreads a sh*t ton of atrocity literature against Indians. We did have good relations with Islamic countries, but West screwed it up by portraying India as extremely anti-muslim. Western media has an amnesia effect on people.

Thanks for the interesting video! I recently read a Reddit and was surprised at how many disparaging statements about India from people from the countries of the "West". It is not surprising with such a negative "color" of messages from the "Western" media.
They won’t listen. Urduwood for ex, is another wing of propoganda. And they worship those kachra. They spend zero effort in even thinking about what’s going on and how easy it is for foreign powers to infiltrate it. It’s never been peacetime. It’s war time or preparation time. I was becoming like those indian English speakers you mentioned. i was in bubble but thank god i've been into that type of bubbles for many times and i think from tomorrow ill have new perspective towards our country I was not thinking to leave India all of those kind of shits but we need to change the thinking of majority part of india and specially youth.there are major difference between us and them as per i think i've seen the world through my eyes and my beliefs they are way more critical thinkers then us.but our society and we need only one year 1-2 hours a day worth of lessons and tips on critical thinking then we can go far beyond anyone have ever thought of we are unaware of our capabilities as humans atleast i used to be like that and i m still working on my self. I really hope India goes through a change school text books syllabus and that too swiftly which I think is more of a possibility under current administration, it is long due That will hugely benefit India in a span of two decades
I think the perception is: India, on a chessboard, is a neutralized piece. Because of Pakistan and does not produce anything the world market needs. They are neither a political ally not a significant economic ally. That is why The West has an ambivalence to India. I think the reference to the stereotypes of "caste, curry, and cow worshipping" also sanitation, when it comes to perceptions of India is accurate Nehru was an ass kisser to the British.
