This is about as honest reporting about this insane situation that can be discussed. If only Trump had kept his campaign promise before the CIA got control over him.

Why did the Real News ask Larry about this problem? He is a good man, but he is not a specialist about Syria. For example, he says the US and Russia need to talk, but the US has no business at all being in Syria. The US is an illegal invader in Syria, whereas Russia was asked to help out by the Syrian government. This biggest problem is the illegal US presence. The US must get out of Syria as soon as possible. When the US leaves, the war will come to an end fairly soon.

TRN needs to invite VA state senator Richard Black, he knows really what has been going on. I'm so surprised the Colonel here seems to not really know, as he admits. Others to discuss this with are Vanessa Beeley, Eva Bartlett, find them here on RU-vid and also see channel Syriana Analysis. I'm so surprised there is such lack of awareness on this here with TRN. Thanks.

I must've dreamed a thousand dreams Been haunted by a million screams But i can hear the marching feet They're moving into the street. Now did you read the news today They say the danger's gone away But i can see the fire's still alight There burning into the night. There's too many men Too many people Making too many problems And not much love to go round Can't you see This is a land of confusion. This is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given Use them and let's start trying To make it a place worth living in. Ooh superman where are you now When everything's gone wrong somehow The men of steel, the men of power Are losing control by the hour. This is the time This is the place So we look for the future But there's not much love to go round

Larry started off blaming Assad and Iran and gradually shifted into bringing Saudi Arabia and the US. Good interview. Great ending.

"Intense bombing by the Syrian government, in alliance with Russia, has killed large numbers of civilians in Eastern Ghouta" -- I would say that the qualifier "large" is questionable since we have information about the death toll *only from the genocidal terrorists from the area,* they are not independently verified in any way. Even when the media refer to "humanitarian organizations citing those numbers in reality it means is that one of the jihadists is made to be a member of such groups and relays propaganda to them (any independent actor would be kidnapped, beheaded, et cetera). Of course, there is no doubt that civilians also die from the strikes by the Syrian government and Russia, but the amount of the death toll is hardly large as the area was almost entirely depopulated already years ago. Remember the figure of how many refugees have fled their homes in Syria? "The half of the country" number is comprised exactly from places like Eastern Ghouta. BTW, I love Sharmini.

It's great to see people like Larry waking up more and more. Yes the story about Assad using chemical weapons never made sense at all. Been saying that right from the beginning. I'm rather puzzled as to why people are buying that ridiculous story.

Thank you meanwhile Colonel for articulating quite s few important points , especially about the Yemen situation and the 'war interests' thanks for all you do! US needs to stand up for the greater good, we need to be a true Beacon again. Respects to you sir and also to TRN for bringing some hopeful and better news unlike the hopeless doom & gloom, blame games of mainstream false-power media. Best Regards!

it's not that the syrian government shouldn't be held accountable for indiscriminate bombing, it's more that when you take a look at what that means, it's harder to be hyper-critical. syria is of course very far from a superpower, and we've moved so far ahead in technology, that it's maybe easy to lose sight of how far warfare has come, even in the last generation. whether it's true or not, we claim we can hit targets with pinpoint precision. all that the syrians have available to them to defend themselves with are surplus bombs from the second world war. you can barely _guess_ where these things are going to land at all. so, when i hear these western groups, intelligence or otherwise, making these claims about indiscriminate bombing....it's not that it's not accurate, it _is_ accurate, but what's the solution? that they let these groups overrun the country? i've argued this point from the start: the rational reaction to concerns about indiscriminate bombing by the syrian army was _always_ to get them better technology. in the end, it was the russians that stepped in and did this. (of course, i'm aware that i'm playing dumb around the inaccuracy of the western narrative, too)
