I never thought I'd get a tornado warning on my phone. I tried to get my three dogs in the basement, but by that time it had passed. It was like he said 30 seconds and it was done. We had two trees fall on our fence, debris everywhere! I thanked God nothing else!
New york state gets 5 to 8 tornadoes each year. They are not common but I would say they are not that rare. They are usually EF1 or 2. Durecho thunderstorms are rarer in New York state. But when they happen they do alot more damage than tornadoes in New York State. Read up kn the derecho in July 15, 1995 that started in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. and did damage through Central, Eastern New York and the Adirondacks. The 1998 Sept 7th. derecho did extensive damage from Rochester to Syracuse to Utica.
Please worship the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE LORD GOD and try not to worry too much about the differences between the different religions and denominations, try to think about the similarities and the things they may have in common more than the differences.
