My Westie did not howl, but he did say Ah-Roo whenever he was happy. That became a long running joke on the Westy lovers Facebook page that if something was good it was Ah-Roo! He would meet me at the door with a toy when I came home from work, drop the toy and say “Ah-rooooo.”
Lmao you just brought me back such a nice memory of my Westie. He'd want to play tug of war so he'd have a toy in his mouth but if I just stared at him and didn't interact, he would AH-ROO! with the toy in his mouth and it sounded hilarious. Like he sounded like he was yelling at me to play. Westies are the best.
I'd love to find a rescue westies. I could not understand why anyone could be cruel to any animal. But it seems more and more all the time it makes me sick. But these people who do that have to answer for what they did.
