I like how you include the hiccups

💡You can very easily remove that angle adjuster bolt by heating it up with a MAP (yellow bottle) torch and penetrating oil. Did that with my most recent NEMA area fixture with an impact gun and it came right out.

I miss my youth 😔 I remember when they changed the street lights at my childhood home to metal halide. I love LEDs, but they don't seem to have the throw that HIDs do. Cool vid!

Oops I think I meant when they changed ours to High pressure sodium. Not sure if the old ones were MV or MH. The area was build in the late 70s and I'm guessing they were MH.

@@grabasandwich Metal halide would have been the more neutral or warmer white tone in commercial parking lots and floodlights, whereas Mercury vapor was the colder tone white light used in most residential neighborhoods in cobra heads and post tops.

Very cool light bulb and fixture! Your videos are always the best! Did you know that you can control desk lamps with an Arduino Uno Board? You just need to hook the Arduino Uno Board to some high current relay switches that are made to work for the Arduino Uno Board. Then you just have to run some code for the Arduino Uno IDE. It is really cool! I did this with my friend a few months ago making a traffic light model and a light show for a fun game and a test. We hooked up four lamps that had incandescent bulbs in them of four different colors. Red, green, yellow, and blue. It worked so amazingly well! You should try this sometime and make a video of this in the future. I bet you could start controlling a lot of your light fixtures and bulbs with an Arduino Uno Board? Do you have a Micro Center Store where you are at? Or you could just look up the Arduino Uno Boards and high current relay switches for the Arduino Uno on Amazon as well. You have a wonderful week and I look forward to seeing your next lightning video!
