AMEs are paid less than auto mechanics and work shift work and there's a thing auto mechanics don't have to deal with. Gravity. Let that sink in. I stand behind them completely

They are paid waaaayyyyyyyyy too much. West Jet needs to lower cost to lower ticket prices.

Strikes in the Airline industry are a given. What is not a given is stranded passanger's. Therefore the Minister of Transport needs to change boarding Policy and Payment. Pax.payment should no be made until time of boarding. Strikes and lock outs. The Minister needs to enforce a two week grace period were by pax' s can avoid being stranded. Meaning once a strike or lock out has been declared such action can not take place until two weeks after notice of same is given.

Seems with inflation the price of everything is still going up at an alarming rate ? So I can't really blame anyone for wanting more money or job security in lieu so they can maintain their Bills/Mortgages if that's what the strike is about.

Pay your engineers don’t cook up numbers to the public, did he mentioned cutting 50% of engineers retirement savings to fund wage hike? Pay them their worth and bring back the gold standard of aircraft maintenance
