A couple of aspects I disliked about 8Dio String Ostinatos (similar product) is the timing issues and lack of release samples: when you play two notes together, sometimes they would be slightly out of sync with each other, and when you stop playing any rhythmic pattern, it just stops dead with no release. How does this library compare on those kinds of issues? Cheers : )
I don't know much about 8Dio but Westwood have some pretty cool software. As mentioned there is a lot of FX that can be added to the existing snapshots to create some dramatic sounds. I can look at these questions in the full review.
Also think 8Dio sounds more orchestral, Rotor is a bit more dynamic/alternative. Do you know if you can play strumming on the cello in 8Dio? Like here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SiJYhmXjzBc.html
