Go to a car factory. Turn that procedure of creating a car into a humanoid robot. And you already have it, you can say that the idea was copied from a factory but they are the same idea. Hunger games is based on the story of "The Labyrinth of the Minotaur." Where young people from Greece were offered to enter the labyrinth. Its creator says it was not copied from Real Battle but I think it is the same idea.

Considering Ghost in the Shell was partially inspired by works like Westworld and Bladerunner in the first place, this is clearly more of an homage. plus humaniform robots has been kicked around since at least Heinlein. Building them in a factory setting is not a big stretch by any means and the only real tether the Marriage scene has to this is the wash through a white liquid for skin.

It works though, because the concept of the park is directly anchored to its creators (Ford) god complex. Which is why I think the show has struggled after season 1. Ford was the glue that held the show together.

It doesn't matter the intention of their use Military Maids Theme Park characters They used the technology to create something fun for the world to enjoy while everyone else brought back slavery and killed each other in newer ways

Process is a little different. Replicants are borderline between synths and organic to the point one was able to produce a child. So it's likely are artificially grown, not built. Although you can make the case they are human given they could potentially breed with humans like the biroid cylons from the battlestar series

Both can pretty much be classified as biroids however and legally be synthetic lifeforms

I think replicants are people with modified DNA that are syntheticly grown in a Lab probably.

@@0megacron And production times means that wouldn't have made much difference. Plus Westworld as a show is recent. As a movie, Westworld has been around since 1973

@@Servellion Yes, but we're talking about the actual process for building synths, not the concept. The 1973 movie just used androids, like you would build on a table - essentially a robot covered in skin. Both Fallout 4 and this show use a nearly-identical method of 3-D printing the body on a circular frame.
