Wet fly fishing down through the Hollybush Pool on the Welsh Dee during the summer. This short evening session produced a few grayling and trout while waiting to fish on into the night for sea trout. Flies used: point #12 red spider, middle dropper #14 black hopper, top dropper #16 Treacle Parkin.

Hi Andrew, as I've said before I love your chanel. Question for you, hopefully I've got this right. Dry fly fishing: from the hook back, fullers earth say back to surgeons knot, then Red silicone all the way back to fly line including 4-5 yards of fly line. Wet fly fishing: on a floating line, fullers earth on tippet and all tapered leader. Thanks for all you do and keep them coming.👍

Good video thank you. I’m watching on a mobile phone and apart from the last fish can’t see the takes. Are you watching the end of the fly line or do you feel the takes?

Hi Kerry, It is hard to see on the video but the tip of the fly line moves during the take but you also feel it. I hope this helps, Andrew
