@@Bolshybwoy Everyone's smiling, vibing with the music. It's the middle of a hot afternoon with a great indie rock band. You don't need to mosh to have fun.
@@brokenwashingmachine9157 my band? Try harder, i dont have a band, if you mean DITZ well guess who got a higher rating than Wet Leg by Pitchfork, get educated.
Watch them progress to bigger and bigger shows has been like a dad watching his child grow up and I am so HAPPY for them. All the way from Sacramento Ca I hope to see them live someday 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Omg, quirky sass everywhere here and I love it! The crowd kinda reminds me of early-80s era Madonna concert crowds. So much fun; this is the party I wanna be at. 😹🙌🏻
@@Bolshybwoy No, who cares? I just chose one of the random replies you made out of like 100, to ask you what’s the point of all of these negative replies? Like, you can just let people enjoy things without spreading negativity
@@plantita3183 a hundred? Lol exaggerate much? Just like to keep the blind fandom in check, its not noise rock and they aren't even that good, people need to educate themselves and stop listening to marketing men.
At 1:10 her big smile and face just makes me so happy because she looks so happy and like she's having the time of her life. Like this isn't my style of music but I'm just happy that a rockband it's making it big we need another loud guitar driven rock band out here! So keep on keeping on Wet Leg, you're making people so happy and I love it
@@miaprice175 you look so happy with that huge smile like no joke it makes me happy, that's why music is so damn cool is it can bring out the bestest emotions. It's nice to meet you by the way I really wasn't expecting that.
@Asher Simpson and who do you think put them together? Are the entire band from the Isle of Wight? No... the rest of the band are "touring members", in other words session musicians.
Excellent musicianship? From the session guys, sure. They're not exactly challenged by the song though. As for the two women and their musicianship? You're kidding, right? One hit wonders. They'll be forgotten about once the frivolous fan-base get a bit older, or learn to play music themselves, or begin to listen to other bands, like Haim, for example. Then they will look back at their time oogling at these idiots and they will ask themselves, " what the fuck was I thinking". There are people out there who have no idea about how music is created, played or performed. They have no clue about Instruments, music production, sound, etc. These are the fans of this band. Flaky, vacuous folk who think Love Island is a creative reflection on real life, have no clue of anything of the outside world ( news, current affairs, social problems in society). To them, watching a talentless fool manically strummung an E chord on a guitar is nothing short of amazing. These are the fans of this band. Complete and utter shite.
great band! My third favorite thing (after the band as a whole and the jolly crowd) is that the drummer is literally what every drummer looks like signed, a drummer
Okay! This is, to its core, the most playful band of the decade. Yes. Yes. It's only 2022. Still, Wet Leg has set the bar high for other playful bands to try to match. 🌸
What? They write the most uncomplicated and simplistic songs. Why do you think they’ve set the bar high. All their songs from that album are piss easy to play. Put them up against some of the 90’s grunge bands. They are nothing.
@@54spatula it’s almost like the simplicity of the Beatles or Nirvana. Very easy chords and progression. We all know what happened to those bands. How’s your band doing hater?
@@dmercury292 The Beatles AND Nirvana (compared to this shite) wrote much more complex music. I bet you like Wet Leg as much, or even more than those bands.
I just saw them playing this song @ Primavera Sound and it was fireeeeee! Imagine this song being released in 1995! Elastica meets The Breeders. They are so funny I love this band
Heard a 30 second clip of this, instantly had to find this song. The live version has more energy than the studio version. Still thought this song was great though.
My goodness, there are plenty of music snobs here. Just because you're unhappy at your failed music career, doesn't mean you can spread unnecessary vitriol. Your opinion of music is equally as legitimate as a toddler who bops to Baby Shark. Get over yourselves and your music elitist attitude.
I don’t know why most of this comment section are hating… i found this song amazing, the lyrics is a meme but the song itself… u can’t hear it without moving your head 😂
Wait, they're from the fucking Isle of Wight? I thought they were Canadian. I can see the IoW from my window. How have I only heard this one song from them?
