just curious to ask, which vga card you have in your pc. being an old dude, thinking about upgrading my 980Ti, as its really becoming bottleneck while working in unreal. thanks in advance.

@@lalamax3d As it happens, I just got a new PC with a 3080 a couple of weeks back. I can't afford to upgrade all that often, so I'm reeeeeally enjoying having a properly decent PC for once. And even so, I don't get a super smooth frame rate running this in-editor - at 1440p it goes between 40-60fps, but then drops to sub 30fps when that eagle shows up. I guess rendering those feathers really is no joke.

So i'm currently using daz and i have tried blender but for unreal engine where i need to begin?

​@@akiraperu1 You should start learning modelling and Blender is a good start, it's actually an awesome software. Daz is not really a creation tool as it's basicly premade stuff, so you can't really author anything.

@@akiraperu1 On Epic games website, enroll for Unreal courses that introduce you to the engine and take you all the way to Intermediate level, a lot of sample game example projects are also there with step by step instructions to get you started on your first game. If you are into film making, there is a separate section for those along with sample examples for real time in-game sequences. As for Modelling, for now, forget about it as Unreal has terra bytes worth of free AAA quality assets all given out to people using UE4, add QUIXEL on top of that and you basically only ever need to model something super custom for your sequence/game etc. Hop on into UE4, it's amazing and it's only going to get better. On you tube you can look for some creators who are pretty good, but not all are good and having no experience it would be difficult for you to figure that out. I would vouch for Unreal Sensei or Code Like Me for beginners stuff.

I was gonna say the same animation is way too smooth while in real they do sharp movements and sharp stops. It's like they have used ease in and ease out keys all over the animation splines
