this is absolutely the only thing i want most i love the lord of the rings so much and i just fell in love with the city of minas tirith my favorite settlement and i think me being the ultimate lord of the rings fan i have to get this

Yeah TB was a massive hit for anyone but it’s an incredible piece. The tree is there but it’s obviously that little thing on top. At that size you just can’t get a tree on it. Honestly I wouldn’t let that hold you back from getting it at some point.
Wonderful masterpiece! Unfortunately, the Weta Workshop website says this piece is sold out :( I don't know if they are planning to sell this item again.
@@LotrCollection me too, can't wait! hopefully it's not one of those scenarios that we get the notification and then it arrives a month or so later. I got my notification for the Miniature Smeagol/Gollum almost 4 weeks ago.... still nothing.
Personally I preferred Rivendell, but MT is in fact beautifully done and, thankfully!!! much lighter in weight than Rivendell! I get lost in the details of both environments. :)

Hey is this the same model like in the movie? So the buildings etc. are exactly like in the movie? And are there seven rings? It looks more like 6 but the top is probably the 7th ring right? I am trying to make a map based on the movie.

How cool would it not be to have a huge room laid out like a map with all these great pieces in the same room? The floor of the room as a huge map like the one Bilbo and Frodo look at that show everything in middle earth, and on each location on that map would be the correct piece. And you could like walk around the pieces. Not as a exhibit of course that would be to risky but at ones house. That would be a project I would love to dedicate time to.
I really want to get all the weta pieces at some point but sadly they don't keep making them? I've always wondered why. Any idea where to look for these or is it just luck and ebay at this point? Instead of the environments I spent all my money on games workshop LOTR range as well as Hobbit which I completed. So I have thousands of minis and characters, hundreds of armies and scenarios in my middle earth dedicated games room. I just think these pieces would literally make it look like a complete miniature middle earth 😍 but as you say...my poor poor wallet Love your collection
I wanted this piece so bad ever since I saw it years ago. If I ever get a good job and some money I will buy this even before some nice furniture for my apartment or even a car! It makes me sad these are not getting made anymore. You think weta will ever do another round?
I don't know when I'll have time. Like I said in the video this is is wider for sure. Height wise they're close but only because the DM version is so stretched vertically.

I see a lot of these on Ebay at the moment...literally cheap Chinese knock offs... re-casts as they are called. They look pretty nice to and for 180USD + postage.... I gotta say it's tempting as I can't justify the WETA ones... although I am sure something would surely get lost in translation in their recasts.... also the paint job... still tempted.
