I love how you can totally hear the groundwork of her style in this cover of “Perfect Day”. I don’t know how to describe that stuff she does with her voice but she just adds a lot to that song!
I just discovered her a few days ago and I'm upset that I hadn't learned about her sooner. She has performed in my home city several times over the years.
Johmathan .B. Swift not sure but I think she signed to sub pop for her next release, which is a major indie label, so is suspect we will be seeing a lot more of ms Natalie
Ive been a fan from first listening. Her voice has such a beautiful range and her handling of the shift changes is remarkable. Each time I listen to a song her voice goes where I thought it might be going to keep the song fresh and meaningful. Then I look at her and think she cant be doing this, but she is. I look forward to following her music for years to come because I know she's only going to delight.
I first saw her at Marfa Myths 2016 -- spent so much time obsessed with her and she's definitely now one of my favorite artists. Not sure how i'm JUST now seeing this video, but glad I did. Can't wait to see her live again.
it's the little roland sampler thing on top of her keyboard. i was surprised cause it's used mostly in hip hop and electronic music, never thought i would see an artist like natalie use it, oh well.
