simplicity is a double edged sword. this is a simple, brain off, get hulldown and slaughter then get clicked to death type of tank. and there's a place for simple tanks in WoT.

I always considered this tank the nerfed version of the Concept 1B at tier 8 but it's actually balanced with a poor gun handling and weak hull armor. Penetration of the gun is incredible with 248 for standard shells and 297 premium.

04:29 248mm of penetration ist not bad, its alright. When its indeed on par the highest penetration on any Tier 8 heavy tank :P

I LOVE it. Two setups 1:Vents, Turbo Grousers (for maps where I need to get fast into position) 2:Improved Hardening, vents, rammer (city maps) Also, on crew, MANDATORY Smooth ride, off road driving, bros in arms, clutch breaking, intuition, snapshot adrenaline rush, recon and situational awareness.. Secondary skills if you already have above: preventative maintenance, safe stowage, dead eye, repairs Now. I find repairs not very important, Since you can't sides crape in this. And lastly, ALWAYS equip Coffee Your welcome. Now you have one of the most OP premiums, if not THE most op one!

Tornvagn is definitely better then before. Still sluggish, but now it is somewhat moving in compare. Gunhandling grows from terrible to "slightly bad" state. That´s improvement, no doubt.

I find rammer, vents and turbo works well for me. It is a very linear playstyle but it's definitely a better tank after buffs.

Skill goes to battle and casually minimize down the window when the countdown has already begun - my inner voice is indignant: we are letting the team down! Skill returns 1 second before the start of the battle, telling everything he wanted - my inner voice is delighted!

You can disable elite with Aslain modpack i did it work well

Thx mate I tried it before but I got kinda lost in the modpack and some of my settings were not the way I wanted even though I got rid of the elite numbers... I'm kinda used to it know, still bothers me but not that much... I even use it to report max elite artas for unsportsmanship conduct :P@@FitzcairnTV

How do you manage to keep your sights focused all the time? You can do that in both cases, whether you're looking open or in sniper mode. And all the time your zoom is at x4 or x8.

I had it for a rental, and won my 1st, 5v1. That is back a while, and I used the tracks, and uper plate to bounce rounds, with 2 of the 5, starting off with, and taking no damage, in a tier 8 match.

tbh, the tank didn’t change much on how it plays, I never enjoyed it, I traded it and I don’t really think I regret it after this buff, I think if you like the play style, I think you wouldn’t be trading it anyway, you need to really hate it to get rid of it imo, and they didn’t change that.

I got 4.7K damage in it during yesterday gaming session with ace wanker. it's so much better with better gun handling. But still below average DPM as its last issue.

For me this tank is a guilty pleasure. Basically it is my equivalent for arta. Brain dead tank that requires little thought but is still somehow decent tank. Only good for a game of two though.

I get this tank from boxes and never play with it. Now I starter play with it and in first battle I get 6k dmg in tier X. Guite lucky

Hull down tanks with absolutly no weakspot should not have good viewrange. Because they get on position and stay there untouchables just spoting easy and doing damage. This change was an error.

Let me add something to your equation: arta. As soon as arta sees Tornvagn on enemy team it goes nom nom nom and good bye fun times for Tornvagn players

The Tornvagn is balanced because dpm is bad. So if youre doing peek a boo at very close range you can just get out and shoot him twice while he s still reloading.

T34 was the "original" hull-down beast. Unfortunately the shit DPM makes it non-competitive. I hated going up against them while grinding my ISs and T-29s in 2012/2013.

Why is there a hair in an egg around every OP tank. I have never played this tank, but I have played against him. And every time I'm face to face, you almost have no chance, it's enough for him to hide the bottom plate a little and you literally can't do anything to him. Perhaps the only drawback is that the speed limit is 35 km/h. Everything else on it is brutal. Well Is-3 which is the icon of this game in 8 lane has 3.4s aiming time. This tank has 2.3s

All I got to say I trashed an is4 today playing this tank face to face with the is4 he couldn't pen my front and I could pen his front armor mind you the is4 is tier 10 and this tank is tier 8 it's really a beast if you know how to play I highly recommend this tank 😂 and I may add I wasn't shooting gold or he rounds !

I agree with skill, but not even high tier game is needed, when enemy tornvagn can pen tornvagn in the face. It's not even that hard. So taking into consideration, that many TDs have a lot of penetration... just don't waste your money on this garbage. Once you play any other style rather than hull down, you are dead. That makes this tank boring non-flexible. It's a major let down of the tank, even if it has slightly better gun handling and manouverability.
