I completely forgotten about that Lincoln Carpet commercial jingle! That brought back memories!

At 0:57 is a WGN-TV station ID which used an 10 second instrumental theme song WGN Entertains You jingle, which was also used for a later new Channel 9 logo in 1983 on WGN's "The Late Movie" which used a CGI motif for its open bumpers and close. And this was then when WGN used the same jingle.

I never forgot the face of the girl behind the little wgn case thing. Made my day to see her again after all these years.

@@christopherhelms7290 In WGN's 1982 promo at 5:36 we never forget , but in this case, it was in the WGN 60 second promo "Oh, What a Good Friend" which showed her face at 6:22 and behind the little "WGN Globe" and "Circle 9" logo case used in their promo at 6:24 as seen. This promo was revised after their new WGN News set debuted before 1983 rang in, and with the WGN News team and Independent Network News talented key anchor team as new video elements seen in the revised updated promo.
