Indeed, I don't think they went national via satellite as a "superstation" until around 1978, IIRC.

@@RyanSchweitzer77 That "superstation" stuff began in Atlanta with WTCG in Atlanta. Ted Turner turned an old independent station into a channel that aired classic TV reruns of classic shows (The Munsters, Sanford and Son, The Flintstones, etc.), plus first run movies, and Atlanta Braves baseball games and Atlanta Hawks basketball games, as well. WTCG-17 subsequently became WTBS Superstation. Today it's Peachtree 17.

And there's a hole in middle.

@@525Lines IKR? Probably why I survived!, LOL. It's a myth, BTW, that the hole is there for that reason. They are called "Life Savers" due to the similar look/shape of a ship's flotation device.

The identical box design, except for the name, was used in Canada, by Shopsy's All-Beef Sausages. I loved those little sausages, ever since I was a toddler...until Shopsy's was bought out by Maple Leaf, which quietly discontinued them, about 20 years ago. No other sausage tastes anything like them.
