[WH40k SFM] A Custodes In Any Combat Situation

Fun fact, the fight was fully animated, but your puny mind couldnt process the awesome and fully canon sight of a Custode opening one single can of whoop ass.

Heretic astarties: "I do not fear you!" Adeptus custodes: "Then you will die braver than most."

Chaos marines: _"we have you surrounded!"_ Custodes: _"And this gives you power over me?"_ *nervus side-glances*

A chaos warhost is marching through a hilly plain when the war leader hears a call over one of the hills. “I bet 10 of your best men couldn’t fight a single Custodes!” Angry the leader of the war band sends his 10 best men to answer the challenge. A few minutes later and after a few bouts of gun fire the voice calls out again. “Bet 1000 of your best men couldn’t best a single custodes in combat!” Furious the the war and leader sends 1000 of his best chaos marines over the hill. The gunfire lasts longer this time but after about 30 minutes the voice calls out again. “I bet 10,000 of your best men couldn’t best a single custodes in combat!” Now absolutely livid the war and leader sends a force of 10,000 over the hill, tanks and heavy mechanical elements included. The battle lasts for hours, but eventually the gunfire and explosions stop as a single mortally wounded chaos marine crawls over the hill. He yells “ITS A TRAP!!! There are TWO custodes!!!”

Damn. If 1 Adeptus Custodes is overpowering, a small team of them is cheating.

Not gonna lie this is the first 3d Custodian animation I ever watched. Good damm job

The Adeptus Custodes are the pinnacle of imperial might. They guard the palace of holy Terra with a training regime that makes the Grey Knights look tame by comparison. Custodes are powerful enough to give Primarchs a headache and lore wise; just a few of them could tear apart Abaddon the Despoiler and his inner circle like they were rowdy children; which is largely why Khorne's legion got on Terra, but never made it passed the gates of the imperial palace. This isn't just some low end legion of daemons either; this was an army lead by an elite blood thirster, and one that even the Grey Knights would have had trouble with. The Custodes literally destroyed a Khornate invasion that the Grey Knights would have been found wanting. Abaddon the Despoiler would not have lasted a minute in the ring with the Custodes; in spite of his table top rules and set up, lore wise the custodes would have had him the minute he set foot inside the imperial palace. And there aren't just a couple of the custodes either; there's thousands upon thousands of them.

even though they are heaveyle biological enginered, with centerius of combat experience, and clad en heavy protectiv gear, and armed with some of the deadliest weapons....... You still cant denie the bravery and determination.... Of the Chaos space marines :D

I still remember being blown away when reading valdor and standard custodes was able to flip a tank with his leg and stop a falling elevator full of people. They're so overpowered

Never forget, A Custodes is the literal cream of the crop. They have the top of the line equipment and training and are among the greatest warriors in 40K.

A single Custodian is more powerful than most Astartes Armies, and I'm pretty sure that they have been compared to Primarchs at least once, which really says something.

After 50 waves. Each exponentially increasing in size, well past a million in the final wave. One lone Chaos Space Marine comes crawling out of the crater after the fight. His lower half is completely missing. His speed is slow, and clearly dying. He crawls up to Abbadons legs, and with his dying breath states, "Sir, there was two Custodians, not one."

If I had a penny for every time that custodes tapped his spear in some gravel in this 1:41 long animation, I'd have 6 pennies. It's not alot but it's strange that it happened 6 times.

The most insane thing is that canonically this is probably pretty close to an even right. Custodes are no joke.

This is basically Meet the Sandvich, and the custodes is Heavy while everyone else is Soldier and Scout.

I love it. I think the custodes is a little too animated though. I always pictured him as being more stoic and terrifyingly calm in this scene. Great work on the animation though, and I still love the custodian here.

Would´ve been a fair fight, if the custodes had no weapon, missing his legs and only having one arm, whilst sleepwalking

Hey ! This quote is from a Star Wars comic if I recall correctly

The Custodes are worth about 10-20 standart Space Marines, the Primarch is worth 100-300 Space Marines, and the Emperor is worth two-four Primarchs(Horus was buffed by 4 chaos gods). The Space Marines that attacked Terra were newcomers who were made a few years before the Battle of Terra due to which they have no combat experience and their armor is solid slag "Мк.V Heresy". Which made 1 Custodes worth 100+ Traitor Space Marines in "MK.V".

lots of jagged edges in terms of fluidity with the animation and camerawork, the soundmixing seemed rather good though every gem starts out heaved from dirt and rock, and i see a gemstone worthy of great attention in your future. keep it up!

The Custodes are to the Astartes what the Astartes are to the Imperial Guardsmen. Their geneseed Primarch is the Emperor himself.

Thankfully, actual in-game Custodes are slightly more balanced than this. But only slightly.

Custodes in lore: can and will kick the ass of most any army as they were literally the emperors personal guard and the ONLY ones who could potentially best them are the full primearchs in their....prime. Custodes tabletop: can be killed by literally anything which is why we have kitten die in TTS....Tis bullshit

This is lore scale accurate. Remember 40k the game is not representative of the genuine power scale of each faction.. 1 Custodes is basically as strong and powerful as Gilgamesh from the Eternals.
