Have you played either Chaos Gate Daemonhunters (XCOM2 like) and/or Rogue Trader (isometric CRPG BG2 style with TB combat)? The best two 40K video games and both relatively new, 2022 and 2023 respectively. Your mention of Battlesector prompted this comment, that is a good 40K game as well.
I have both - didn't play Daemonhunters much, but beat Rogue Trader as an Iconoclast and raised my own AI-C'tan without consulting any walkthroughs! I'm a bit miffed though, I should have got the "Get a secret companion" achievement and didn't - after reading up on it afterwards, apparently I broke the game by getting Incendia as an Iconoclast...
Man I just noticed...those Onslaught and Salvage tokens had better be retroactive even though I know they won't. That is some fucking bullshit. How many orbs shards and badges is that for just 10 levels of Onslaught tokens? 20? 30? I am still strapped for orbs and badges all the time, this would be a huge boon for me.
It would be awesome for the players, and that's why it won't happen, just like we didn't retroactively get progress towards the Requisition pity system. 😕 Also, I suspect I just identified you on the official Discord. 😊
@@caoryn Well I thought about that...but then thought *maybe* they would have had a hard time tracking reqs...maybe, maybe not. But here...I mean they know everyone post level 8 didn't get them...just add them to the game as unclaimed mail.
I think I know the answer and I should be able to check soon but do you know if for character quests like Godswyl's, if you own the character is he scaled up during fights they way they are if you do not own the character? The way I was able to beat the Epic3 on the last Azkor event was because I didn't own the character (still don't :() and.so my Azkor was capped out at...G1 and 36/36 abilities! I don't have a single gold or character at 36/36 on my own roster. Anyway it looks like on character quests if you own the character they will scale it down but not up?
The Quest hero is set to the cap for the tier you are playing, and has pre-set equip (Combat Knife for crit, so 20% chance) regardless of what you are using. So yes, they will scale up to being not terrible stats-wise even if you have them at St1. 😊
