Comprehensive sexual and reproductive health
services are fundamental to upholding individuals’
inherent human dignity and autonomy and encompass a wide range of health needs beyond just reproductive concerns and poor health outcomes. This event illustrated the ways in which Ministerial-level leadership of Member States are championing evidence, experience and action to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) as central to health, rights
and sustainable development and examined the
challenges and opportunities that lie ahead to
meaningfully realize SRHR for all.
