I love sugar snap peas with ranch or vegetable dip but for whatever reason it has never dawned on me to sauté them! They look delicious 😋 will be trying them. Hope you have a great week

Hi Maegan - Today I made meatloaf for lunch. I just can't seem to get the taste I want. I use the basic recipe - pretty much like yours but I wonder if it is the hamburger meat itself. Do you think hamburger meat tastes differently than it used to?? Hubby says they are growing beef fast to sell and the cows are getting the same food... I am def going to try the Southern Biscuit mix. I watched "Collard Valley Cooks' use it with buttermilk and they looked so good. Hope you have a good week. Granny hugs from Biloxi, MS
My mom and I were just talking about this the other day. We were both saying how pork breakfast sausage from the store just does not taste like it used to. And how several items don't and we weren't sure if it's just because we are getting older, or if the products themselves have changed. It wouldn't surprise me that products are changing, because there's so much corporate greed. A lot of people think the crazy high food and grocery prices are because of inflation....and although there is some truth to that, the majority of it is greed. Companies want to do things as cheaply as possible so they can get the most amount of profit possible. I agree with your husband, they pump animals full of who knows what to get them to grow bigger and faster. So I'm sure that impacts the taste of the end product.
