A tip if you’re adding garlic to soup, you can add in the whole cloves and let them simmer in the broth until it’s done. Then mash them up and stir in at the end.
I don't have a panini press, but my George Foreman grill works great to toast sandwiches, plus it's got "floating" lid so it fits any size sandwich. I make my own gnocchi, just use leftover mashed potatoes, add an egg, and a little flour, mix it up, roll the potatoes in long threads, cut into 1 inch sections and press with a fork, cook in boiled water till they float, they are done, or add to your soup, or broth....yummmm , and it's a great thing to let kids make, they love it.
Kristin, I will definitely be trying a couple of these recipes. If you need brown sugar right away, just heat it in the microwave. Do it in short spurts and it will soften up, for immediate use.
The gnocchi can be taken up another level by quickly pan frying until it starts to brown before adding it. It adds to the flavour and the texture ☺️ It's so good especially with a tomato based pasta sauce and some parmesan on top
Just had to say this real quick! That clear bowl in the pork chop portion in the beginning of that part, my parents got that exact set of dishes as a wedding gift 34 years ago! I’m 24 and have used bowls like that ever since I could remember! Still do today! How cool❤️
I can just tell from your videos that you’re a wonderful, humble, and kind human being. Your channel is so calming and all of your recipes look delicious!!💓
The soup is definitely a copycat recipe for Olive Garden’s chicken gnocchi soup. Delicious, right??? I’ve made it before but my kids have been eating it at OG since they both started eating solid foods. I’m Italian so my mom makes gnocchi; it’s a really special pasta dish in our family. But I just use a pack like you did for the soup. The way you made your soup is exactly how I make mine and my kids say it’s just like OG’s. Everything looks delicious. I was drooling over the Cuban sandwiches. So jealous I don’t have a big hunk of pork cooked in my fridge right now lol.
Listening to you is like listening to myself if I was to have a RU-vid 😂 love your channel, it’s so inspiring without having over the top recipes. If you add a little salt to your garlic you can mince it and smash it with the flat of the blade and it makes it a little easier!
OMG KRISTEN!!!!! You made a Cuban for sandwich 🥪. I’m Cuban American & I have been making it this way too!!!! Your spot on it does cook well in the crockpot & you got the marinade for it just fine. The longer you marinate for the better it’ll be. I make mine the day before stick in frig overnight & put in the crockpot to cook. I’m stalking lol cuz you make feel me good. I now look forward to trying new things & a totally new perspective. I love how honest & bubbly you And your kids!! Well I should your fam!!! Ilu in San Jose Ca
That chicken rice and cheese bake had me over here drooling! I’m definitely going to be making that one and soon! Thank you so much for sharing with us, Kristin!
If you want to use fresh garlic but don’t feel like mincing with a knife or if you don’t have a press another easy way is to use your hand-held grater (same one you used for the cheese in the soup recipe) and just peel the cloves & grate it (just watch your fingers!) Every single recipe in this video looks delicious! I’m adding all of them to upcoming weeks of cooking 🧑🏻🍳
I was basically pregnant for two years and I was so nauseous during that time (3 years ago now)so I stopped watching. Idk why but I remembered your channel the other day and started looking for it. So glad I found you! I made the southwestern rice the other day and my family liked it a lot.
For my Brown Sugar--I always cut only half the bag open-Then compress the bag and fold it over and bull-clip it -and Then put it in a Zip-Lock bag----Stays fresh as long as you need it !! And I do the same thing for Flour, Confectioners Sugar and Corn Meal :) and whatever else you need to keep fresh in the Pantry !!
as usual, everything looked so good! I have been wanting to try the chicken and gnocchi, I just haven't yet! yours looked pretty yummy! thanks for sharing! xoxo
I really like using a garlic press. You can buy garlic already peeled or blanch your own for easy peeling. I just store them in a ziplock in the fridge and use them when needed. They last a long time.
Everything looks delicious! I want to thank you for telling us about Ale-8; I finally found it in my area~at Cracker Barrel!! The taste is amazing!! I can see why you love it so much. Thanks again!!
yum! I always look forward to your recipes. Trying that beef/broccoli/ramen one! I identified with you on always being scared to stir fry beef. So glad yours turned out tender. That stir fry steak you bought looked very lean, like round steak.
You should get a garlic press! You don't even have to peel the garlic it does that for you and you get fresh minced garlic every time :) it's one of my favorite kitchen tools
Love how your so realistic that we don’t all have the fancy gadgets yes they come in handy and have nothing against them I would love to have them all ❤️ but what I mean is we don’t always have them and you show it’s life and improvise 💗💗💗💗 everything looked amazing! Thank you for sharing!!!
I have made the Southwest chicken many times but we like it best with gr beef instead of chicken and I also put the rice on the bottom instead of mixing it in so it stays moist. I dont use the cram of soup and I use the drained corn and rotel liquid for the rice. I maybe should try the cream of soup but I skip the calories lol
I have Pioneer Woman frying pans and I watch Pioneer Woman every Saturday morning here in my home in Southwest of Oklahoma City metro area in Blanchard, Oklahoma.
I loved how simple yet genius that pork chop recipe is! Can’t wait to try that, the Cuban sandwiches & the ramen! I’m glad your break from RU-vid wasn’t too long! You’re my favorite RU-vidr. Watching your videos makes me feel like I’m talking with a friend. Thanks for sharing. 💙
I love the chicken Gnocchi soup, if you ever eat at Olive Garden order that there, it is sooooooo good, also the pasta faguli, I know I didn't spell that right but I'm sure you know what I'm saying, lol it's good also
We love Parmesan crusted pork chops! All the other ones look soo good!! We will be trying them all in the next couple of weeks. I will for sure be trying the ramen first though!
Thanks for sharing all these Delicious recipes. I'm definitely making the porch chops first. Take Care and God Bless Y'all. Love From your Indiana Friend.
Hey hun awesome video as always thank you for taking out of your day to film these delicious looking recipes for us I really can't wait to try them...great inspiration 😘😘
I know exceptionally little about RU-vid, but I have seen a number of channels that use something to divide their videos into sections with labels so that a viewer can get (back) to a specific, in your case, recipe. I like your channel a lot, and I want to try some of the things you make, but I'd like to be able to get back to the specific clip I am interested in.
I have watched you for roughly over two years and never realized you were a lefty! The food looked amazing as always! You am going to have to try the Cuban sandwiches!
Just come to Florida, Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 and Cuban 🇨🇺 bread is all walmart has. I prefer Puerto rican over Cuban but they're both so good.. way different than French in my opinion.
