Thanks Victor, This is good information, keep on doing great videos specially for people in other countries. The Mexican economy is very solid/strong, the peso will get stronger in no time so enjoy the currency exchange while it last. Greetings from California USA.

A weaker Peso is good for exports, and more exports means growth and investment. Eventually, the Peso will strengthen again but there are benefits to “weakness”. I think the key is to cap the dollar exchange at 20.00 (which the government can accomplish by increasing or decreasing the dollar reserve to match fluctuations). There are rhythms. I don’t try to time them (which is foolish speculation in my opinion). But I find the development cycles interesting.

Hello Sister. Thank you for taking time To watch this video. I’m hoping these videos help those like you to know a bit more. There’s a lot of fake news out there, a lot of fear mongering, it’s sad. Please tell all your family hello for me, and blessings.

@yeshuaismyredeemer Thanks for explaining what is the equivalent of eminent domain. In the US this has been abused as well. @ourlifeinguanajuatomexico3403 I have benefited from great coverage from the newspaper "El Pais" as well as episodes from the podcast "El Hilo" which is a production of Radio Ambulante. You can translate these articles or podcast transcriptions into English language. You could also consume this content a bit each day to improve your Spanish language abilities. The research by the linguist Krashen determined that consumption of comprehensible input is one of the most important parts of language acquisition. You can start by listening to and repeating sentences from sentence audio books on Audible. @yeshuaismyredeemer I remember the concerns about the government interfering with economical power generation that was re sold to manufacturing in Monterrey NL by CFE. The fiasco with the cancellation of the new airport at the capital, the metro line 12 in CDMX, the columns that penetrate into the cenotes to support Tren Maya. Also a new book from Anabel H who has been exiled. I would put a different book cover on that book if I was brave enough to carry it into the country. Also, large government support for PEMEX which is in extreme debt. Similar to the bailout for General motors in the US back during the previous financial crisis. Mexico should benefit from continuing near shoring and investment by the Chinese, Koreans, etc. The Chinese companies definitely do not respect the environment. I have personally seen this with my own eyes in China. The Mexican government will need to be very careful with any Chinese automotive parts or cars so as not to cause more difficult trade agreement negotiations. The T mafia that comes will make this very messy. I had better get my residency before that payaso creates his PR disaster. The US is really destroying its privilege with excessive trade sanctions as well as asset seizures. That is most likely why the Chinese prematurely sold their treasury bonds. They took a large loss by selling them early, but they have seen the increased sanctions and seizures by the US. Yellen announced potential additional sanctions on Chinese banks that do transactions with Russian. China considered limiting the banks that do these transactions to a smaller group. The Ukraine war was not inevitable and negotations that were occurring early on were sqashed by messages from people like Boris Johnson. Certain European leaders made statments that demonstrated that the earlier Minsk agreement was merely to buy time for a military buildup. You can see some of the geopolitical thought in a short book "The Grand Chessboard" by Zbignew Brezinski in about the year 2000. Also the essay "A New American Century" that was written about that time. Look for the original. You can read about Victoria Nuland's earlier intervention in Ukraine in 2014. I mention these seemingly unrelated geopolitical issues because this could really hurt countries that are closely attached to the US and the dollar. Such as Mexico. The disadvantage of Tiffen's dilemma is why China would not want the Yuan to be the international reserve currency. Read some of the statements coming from the IMF.

Thanks for this report. There was a lot of capital flight as a reaction to the election, but the weaker peso is also good for exports. If the government wants to grow the economy, it would do well to maintain a weaker peso. Eventually the investments will come back in one form or another. There’s uncertainty about Sheinbaum and her policies. It’s the uncertainty that caused the sell off, more than the policies themselves. I think businesses and investors want to see which policies will get priority and how they will be implemented, and most of all, how she will govern. And there are legitimate concerns that Morena seeks to undermine democracy, too (just as there are concerns in the U.S. about elements within maga that seek to undermine our democracy).

The Peso has been beating the US dollar for the last year and a half , It was around the price it is now a year and a half ago I really don't think the price is that big of a deal . I make USD and it benefites me in the sense that i get more pesos for dollars but I think this is going to be short lived as Saudi Arabia is dropping the petro dollar. Also Morena previously diversified Mexico's economy to not be so dependant on the US.

A weaker peso benefits manufacturers that rely on exporting, but it also provides new opportunities for domestic manufacturing. A weak peso makes imports more expensive and provides opportunities for domestic production. As far as being less dependent on the U.S., the two economies have become too entwined. We are interdependent and we will become more so. “Making Mexico less dependent on the U.S.” is a political talking point, but nobody ever explains what it means.

Can someone answer this please? What is the Mexican peso backed up by? Thanks

Almost every currency is back up by the dollar and by gold. I think most people who follow some type of finances and economy knows this. So can I ask you why the question?

I think the reasons you site are correct but there are so many double edges to the reform. If people vote on the replacement of currupt judges in elections where candidates are murdered ( like the November elections) who are the new judges going to be? Who then controls those judges?
@yeshuaismyredeemer
@yeshuaismyredeemer 24 дня назад
I think the he general thought is that the judicial system with be controlled by the government body, but the reform which is still going to be built understand there still has to be controls so there’s no government overreach in the future. We will have to wait and see, till then there’s going to be uncertainty in the market. Thanks for leaving a comment. 😊

who controls the judges here in the US? Have you ask yourself that question. If they get appointed by republicans = conservative and liberal if appointed by democrats.
@yeshuaismyredeemer
@yeshuaismyredeemer 22 дня назад
@@victoravalos1711 what’s up tocayo. The answer would be no one. But you appeal the ruling up to the Supreme Court state wise and if possible you. An take it up to the federal supreme court court after that there is no one. I think that I would be good for people to vote them in an not elected in.
