Enjoyed your video. I use shower caps (cheap free ones in hotels) for my shoes (each shoe in a single cap). This takes less room than a shoe bag and single shoes can fit so many places in my overall bag. Also stuff socks or small things in the shoes.
Hola. I enjoyed your video. I understand your love of Barcelona as I visited last April and loved it. My one essential is a phone charger. It stays charged forever even after using it and it took away my anxiety regarding my phone going dead with the long flight.❤❤❤
Hola!! Thank you for watching! Isn’t it amazing?! Love that city! Yes! The phone charger is a must! Thank you for sharing. No, this was my carry one. 😳😂😂It was a lot! Lol
You are so organized! I think your luggage is more than just for Barcelona. I usually get two adapters for Europe, but also I try to bring reusable cups and stachers, which is a little bit different than yours 😅
Loved this! Is there anything you’d remove or pack differently, after watching the packing footage? I find that I always regret my packing choices, even after I’ve spent weeks planning and have repacked 20 times. 😅 My must haves are the toiletries I can’t buy on-site (my 4C Only hair products, Bolden skincare products, Lume and Honey Pot products), my Platypus flat water bottle, and my most recent additions of silicone face and body scrubbers to replace disposable loofahs and Airbnb washcloths. I love the large size magnetic pill container from Amz, which perfectly holds 3+ months of all 7 of my daily Rx meds. And most importantly, I will never pack a bag that doesn’t include toenail clippers and large nail file, tweezers, and a small sewing kit, for obvious and embarrassing reasons. 😊 I always love your videos, glad to see you posting again! Would love to see a packing- or travel mistakes video, if you’re accepting suggestions. Hope you had a fantastic time back in Barcelona!
Hahaha yes!! Hindsight is 20/20 right?! That’s such a good question. Yes, I def would have left my iPad and kindle behind. Two too many electronics. 😂 Yessss, to the hair and skin products. 👏🏾Ooohh silicone face and body scrubbers. I’m going to look into that. Sounds so nice! Thank you for sharing all your must-haves with us! I love hearing how other people like to pack and travel. Thank you also for the kind words. 🥰❤️I’m always accepting suggestions! Such a good idea! Thank you! ❤️
Love this video. I am team carry on all day, but I'm still trying to downsize on the amount of clothes I bring. Most of the time there are about 4 outfits I packed but didnt wear on my trips. I'm so scared of not packing enough.
I’m the same way with chargers and plugs…I have so many that I get confused on what I’ve bought…but Lord I never want to be without a charger or way to charger them…great concise list, I would add a speaker although I rarely use it but I do pack it and it typically adds to the weight…but I’m team carryon and personal item…got caught with my fanny pack on Southwest (which was a 1st) and had to out that in my wife’s bag…other than that I’m about the same but don’t take a laptop only an iPad…safe travels.
Hahaha I’m so glad I’m not alone in that. 😂Yes! I love a speaker, especially when it’s a beach trip or I know I’ll be outside a lot. Yeah, I really want to start traveling with just my iPad but I do so much work on my laptop that I can’t do on my iPad. 😩But I really need to figure it out. Thank you so much for watching and sharing! Safe travels to you too! 💕
Heading to Barcelona very soon for 6 days. I always take a travel size fan I can put by bed if I get to hot. I take three adapters as well just in case.
Wow! Impressive! I'm such an overpacker and am trying to get better. I usually check a bag because bringing a carry-on suitcase stresses me out. I was wondering, though, why you didn't have to limit liquids to 1 quart-sized bag, and could have them mixed with other contents. Is that because you weren't traveling domestically? Or did you have them in one bag through TSA and rearranged them later? Thanks! I'm really enjoying your videos and tips/tricks!
Hi Wendy!! Thank you for watching! 💕Oh thank you!! I felt like I had packed too much on this trip at the time. 😂😂And that’s totally okay, you do you! I have a friend like that. She prefers checking a bag so she doesn’t have to stress about the size of her containers and I totally understand that. I have TSA Precheck so I don’t have to take any of my liquids out. 💃🏾That’s a nice little perk to it.
@@KRodCollective Thanks for responding! I also have TSA Precheck - so nice! I don't have to take my shoes off - yay!! LOL. I'm working on packing less and want to take a few shorter trips to visit friends/family to "test the waters", so to speak. Also, I'm excited because I recently bought a Fjallraven Kanken laptop backpack to use as my personal item. Your videos on that helped me make my decision. I'm like you; I find something I love and keep it as long as possible. Thanks again for all your tips/tricks and positive energy. Enjoy your travels!
@@wendy6615 Yes! TSA precheck is the best! Also, yes, that's the best way to practice. Aww yay!! I hope you love it as much as I do! hahaha i know, we are so alike then! I'm really trying to branch out more this year, I want to try other products but yes, once I find something I love, I usually stick to it until it falls apart. 😂Thank you for watching! Happy travels to you too! ❤
Hey dear. I know this is a little late but I'm going to Barcelona in a few weeks and want to do carry on only. Thanks for your video but I have a question. Does BCN not have the same liquids rule as Heathrow?? That's what I was afraid of.
Hey!! Nope! Heathrow is one of the toughest with liquid rules. I’ve never had a problem in BCN. They’ve never once asked me to take out my liquids. Have a fun trip! ❤️
Why does one want to do only carry on? I want to check my bags. If you have an American Airlines cc it’s free. But even if it’s not free I check at least one bag. I don’t wear sneakers on a trip.
@@angelal3791Ooojh right right. I’ve never had an issue with liquids in Spain. They don’t require that you take them out. I’ve never had to do that. France and the UK for sure. Spain, no. 😂😂😂
Such a good question! I plan on making a video about this soon. For now, check out my blog, I have a few posts on great things to do in Barcelona. I also have a video on day trips from Barcelona. Feel free to check it out! Catalonia is gorgeous! 💕
Hmm, it can get cold. The highs might be around the 60s (around 16 C or so) and lows around the 40s (8-10). Cold enough for a coat but not as cold as Madrid gets. 💕
