@@christopherweise438 he was pretty healthy last year he only missed 1 game, and they improved the O-Line hopefully health stays on that front too, cuz when Stafford was hurt with the rams they had 12 different Starting Line combos out of 17 games…. Which is why he went down for the year in the first place
Ja’Marr Chase will definitely be back first. He’s the best on that list of 3 holding out and if the Bengals want to be on top of it they’ll sign him before the others raise the market price.
Thank you! The Raiders smacked them around. Wasn't even close until the end of the game. The Raiders defense is absolutely ferocious and the offense is severely underrated.
I've been saying the same exact sentiment for Dak for the past 4 years! He had to fight for the first contract and they traded away Cooper, overpaid for a declining Elliot, and never got any replacement for Cooper except Lamb. And made no moves in free agency to line up opposite Lamb and no running back help this past off-season to give Dak more than one trustworthy target other than CeeDee.💁🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ People say Maholmes makes it work, but they got it figured out with a competent run game and passing game. The run game helps more than people realize to make it to the Super Bowl and win it!
Yeah I get the excitement of him being there, especially given what he did with Michigan and in the past, but this is still a Chargers team that has absolutely not met the high expectations and lauding of them year on year for what, a decade+ now? Cool the jets and if I'm Harbaugh, downplay the expectations so the team doesn't shatter under them. Let them focus on one week at a time and see where we are come playoff time. I'm betting he does that and that's their best chance this current year to make some noise. But to be incredibly blunt, the reason others aren't talking about this team as much as Rich here (other then obviously his bias as a Michigan fan) is because people are beyond sick of hearing about what this team will do, not what they actually do, offseason-offseason. They don't even have the achievements to be labeled "Next Years Champs" like notable good non championship winning teams in the past. They've earned nothing and are in this position media wise because of it.
Last year everyone thought the Rams would have a down year, time to rebuild, finally pay the bill for the SB win since they had pushed all the chips in. They started out the year that way but then surprised us all in the 2nd half of the season. It's going to be fun to see what they can do this year.
@@BlankZombie the 🐻? Over the rams to make the playoffs as a Chiefs fan I don't see it.... the Rams organization and QB/coach tandem is lightyears ahead of the bears
@@My_NagintaI’m very confused as to how just due to a coaching change(obviously an incredible upgrade) all of the sudden makes them a lock for #2 in the AFC west…..they might have the worse wr room in all of football (coming from a chiefs fan btw)
@grahamhunter5067 say what? Once AP took over as head coach, the Raiders had the #1 scoring defense in the NFL. Koonce was a top graded pass rusher and run defender in that time, with 8 sacks in the final 9 games. They added Christian Wilkins who had 9 sacks at DT last year and was a Pro Bowl alternate. Their MLB Spillane had All Pro caliber numbers last year and sealed a couple games with INTs. Jack Jones also played like an All Pro last year in Vegas with two pick sixes and allowing a 33.9 (!) passer rating. Nate Hobbs is one of the best slot corners in the game. Moehrig got 3 INTs and allowed a passer rating of 42.6. They have a top 10 offensive line after adding Jackson Powers-Johnson, they added Brock Bowers - the most promising TE to come out of college in a generation - plus a very good all around TE in Mayer. Zamir White took over for Josh Jacobs and averaged 100 yards rushing per game over the last 4 weeks. How on earth are you talking about the WR room? In 16 games (one of those cut short from a concussion), Jakobi Meyers had 800 yards receiving, caught 8 TDs, rushed for 2 TDs and threw another one. He has the talent to be a Pro Bowler and is a hell of a blocker too. Tre Tucker stretches the defense with his 17.4 yards per catch and Davante is a Hall of Famer who is still a top 5 WR in the league. Finally, the top "weakness" on the team is QB. Minshew almost led the Colts to a playoff berth, and is the best backup in the NFL. AOC threw 9 TDs to 1 INT in his last 6 games, with passer ratings as high as 120. 8 TDs to 0 INT in his last 4. I have no idea why he's getting so overlooked but he's going to be the starter and he's gonna be way better than anybody expects. Look at his highlights from last year and tell me you're not impressed. He was graded as a first round pick after his junior year at Purdue. He's got plenty of talent.
Well, the Raiders are 2 and 10 against the Mahomes led Chiefs, but in a way they are on a playoff team pace. Playoff opponents against the Mahomes led Chiefs are 3 and 15.
First, they paid attention to Los Angeles football from 82 - 94 when the RAIDERS were there! Second, Kermit isn't going to break either of those records against the Raiders. Crosby, Wilkins, and Koonce are going to have frog legs for lunch in both October and in Arrowhead in November. It's going to me yum-yum time!!!😋😝😋
@@caseykiesling4348 Peyton Manning only threw 7 tds once. In fact, I think only 3 players have thrown 7 tds since 1969 (Peyton, Nick Foles, and Brees). It’s a very rare feat indeed.
As long as Jerry Jones or his son owns the Dallas Cowboys, the football Gods will not allow the Cowboys to get to the Super bowl, much less win another Lombardi trophy.
@jermainemarshall4575 a few of them looked like that. But you've still gotta beat your man and take the QB down. 9 sacks is quite a lot for a DT, and he's a clear upgrade from what the Raiders had last year at DT. And this was already the #1 scoring defense over the second half of the season.
@@isaiahayers1550 Is the defense going to play as well? Because last time I check, Raiders has no real QB, and good luck relying on JUST the defense to win games.
@@tigera6 yeah, as far as I know, the NFL will allow the Raiders defense to play. If you think the Raiders don't have a real QB then you haven't been paying attention. AOC has plenty of arm talent, a very good offensive line and some fantastic weapons. Even a middle-of-the-pack offense can easily win games with an elite defense.
Did anyone else start to doze off during that long winded answer about Dak Prescott? At this point there's nothing to talk about when it comes to Dak. Dallas or the field? No. Next question please.
@user-mk3vk7kb6b , Mahomes' rookie contract payed him a tiny (NFL QB AMOUNT) of $16 million total. His 2020 - 2023 contract had a tiny cap hit of $82 million (NFL tiny veteran QB dollars). Not my team, yet total respect for Mahomes. Salary cap restructuring is a voodoo job.
They have the second worst record for the last 20 years. They got excited off last year and still only won 7 games. There’s hasn’t been a reason to give the raiders any hype since 02
They were the #1 scoring defense over the last 9 games (after the head coaching change.) I believe they ended #9 on the year. They added Christian Wilkins too, and Tyree Wilson is healthy and going into his second year. They're absolutely scary good.
he's not holding out because he has 2 years still left on his contract...people forget jefferson started a year before chase and just got his... chase still has one more year till he gets that extension
@@getbrainseeds bro he is holding in he is not practicing to preserve his body if he had guaranteed money already he would be out there Amon Ra St.Brown was in his Draft class and Jalen Waddle and they BOTH got paid this offseason how you think that make him feel?
@@getbrainseeds and even though he not a wide receiver even Penei Sewell got extended this off season that’s the same Draft class so stop with the he got more years on his rookie contract the Bengals are doing that Jerry Jones ish if the Bengals were smart they would pay him now before Ceedee gets paid!
@@daltonoftheyear as a bengals fan i always see rich give bengals respect he is one of the few that does... he is just saying stafford will have more yards, yards is just 1 stat lol
I have a roommate/landlord that works for the NFL. He takes EVERY little opportunity he can get to not actually go into work. He reminds me of Rich so much.
8 TDs in one game in 1951 are you fking kidding me rn? Are we REALLY going to end entertain that. I have a question how many TDs do you think mahomes would throw in one game vs 1951 talent on defense??? Exactly 😂 those types of records need to just be erased. Thatw as easy in 1951. No one ever will get close to that now because the talent it just too good on defense now. That is nuts and there are people who will actually defend those records with a straight face.
Mahomes doesn't forget. He will make Andy leave him for both records if he's close to them. Also, his defense will have his back. A 63-0 score is not out of the realm of possibility.
everyone's take on the rams is that no one is talking about them and that they're actually going to be good, which means that the reason no one is talking about them is because everyone thinks the exact same thing already and there's not much more to say lol.
Keep praying brotha, offense only got better and kept almost everyone on the defensive side including coaching outside of Sneed but might have the deepest secondary in all of football but sure yeah they some how got worse
Mahomes, who had a passer rating of 92.6 last year with 14 INTs, and who threw 1 TD and a pick six against the Raiders last time for a passer rating of 73.6, is not very likely going to throw for 600 yards or 8 TDs. The Raiders defense only got better since then and he'll be lucky to throw for 200 yards or 2 TDs. He probably gets sacked by the best D line in football 5 times.
You mean the Mahomes that had zero good WR and Kelce was not in shape for the entire season? You want to bet against this current group of WR base off ONE game last year?
@@tigera6 I'm pretty sure I based it off of ONE game (where Mahomes threw another pick to Moehrig that was dubiously reversed) AND the entire season, AND the fact that the Raiders have the best defense in football. The KC WR Corps doesn't scare me, and Kelce is another year older. Hollywood Brown hasn't done much in the league, and then the late first round rookie who hasn't done anything whatsoever in the league. Let's revisit this comment after the Chiefs visit Vegas in October. We'll see if it's closer to 1-2 TDs or 8.
Yeah - Jack Jones, Koonce, Crosby and Co are shaking and trembling. I am assuming these clowns think Kermit needs extra motivation besides the beating they got last Christmas. The first and only Nation just waiting for black Friday.
