Purchased and fitted one of these after watching this video, agree with everything you say, fantastic bit of kit, however I have went with the non valved unit, my neighbours hate me anyway haha...

Just had same one fitted 4 days ago Jesus it's anti social with its pops valves open...so glad I got that remote from j9 tuning ....Great on back roads not so great around villages , people will jump when it pops I did driving it lol
Car Focused mine is a newer one with a PPF filter so can’t do much at the moment as it throws up error codes. But I have had the back box and rear resonator modded by PCW and it now sounds like it should.... but not like yours lol
On my first rs I had a mountune v3 catbackexhaust valved system with FPM 375 on the rs edition I have now I am going with the scorpion cat back exhaust valved system and I also have the FPM375 on my rs this exhaust sounds nice 👌
Car Focused yes m8 its incredible if you were local you could have a drive of it.from the ultima 2+ to the ultima 3 what a diffrence the boost comes in perfect quite savage but in a good way i love it
Does sound good and the valve can be annoying at times I also have the none valve piece but as you say you want it less loud some times ie when my dog is in the car 😀 brillant content Gary cheers steve 😀
Good Video Gary. Always good to see a video from you. We need more. That said I would go for the sports cat, rather than de cat. I would consider changing the intercooler and hoses if you do consider going for stage 2. I'm still considering stage 2 as I am very happy with the RS but like you said modding the car never stops. My remus cat back has made the car so much more enjoyable and yes I do agree the car is an asbo on wheel when in sport/race mode. I do tend to drive the car at night in normal mode due to how loud the pops are and to show consideration to my neighbours and community hence why i went for the valved system. Cold starts are not too bad for me, but if you are getting up in the early hours then it could be, however that said I do not think its as loud as a scooter/moped to be honest.
that exhaust sounds amazing mate!, i recently had my car stage 1 went from 177bhp to 212bhp in my audi a3 tdi quatrro, im loving that now but still want your car tho :P
I need Some advice here, i bought a new Fiesta st200, i like it very much but miss rear wheel drive so, Should i trade that for a focus rs or buy like a Gt86/Brz and maybe keep the Fiesta?
Sounds great! Not quite as exotic sounding as my Focus 1.5 Tdci though 😂 I wish! I do have a Punto GT (currently in storage) but I have kinda given up pouring money into keeping it alive! Next car will definitely be back to proper turbo, but maybe something current like the Focus ST. Anyway, thanks for another video!
Thats it.. I cant take it. Have to take mine for a quick run now :) I also find the bangs are so loud they make the worst of the tailgaters back right off!
Great informative video once again I ordered the imap after watching yr video ( turned up today ) will upload 2+ map later, currently have mountune induction kit & recirc valve, so I’m guessing I’m going for the correct map ? Also love the sound the scorpion valved cat back makes, don’t think I’m brave enough to go for non valved ! Could the exhaust valve delete gizmo still be fitted to the scorpion exhaust Gary ?
Nice Gary. So keeping it in Normal mode you still stop the pops and bangs like the stock car? Also I'm running the Ultima 3 map on a stock car with great results. However I'm not one to be running around on boost all the time.
I bought the Scorpion exhaust system. I must wait 6 to 8 weeks for it!! Yaaaarrrr. . Question. When you had your stock exhaust on and you cold start your RS, does the Valve automatically open? I live in the US and my RS always cold starts with the valve closed, I see exhaust coming out of the right side of the exhaust.
Have you thought about an oil catch can and revised breather plate? Should reduce carbon build up on the intake valves and keep the engine sweet for years to come...

Sounds mega man! Love the Milltek on my Fiesta ST. Tamed when cruising but a soon as you plant your right foot it’s a complete different animal! Especially paired up revo’s overrun add-on. Looking forward to the next video!

Have you seen the numbers Ford are toting about for the new ST? Interesting, they claim a top speed of 155mph but apparently they've had prototypes over 170mph on the autobahn & even though they claim a slower 0-60 time than the RS they reckon it does the standing quarter faster. You'll have to get a test drive of one ASAP & get the video sorted
I would think twice before getting a sports cat. There's 2 possible disadvantages to them. 1 is they don't last more than a few years (depends how long u plan to keep the car if that matters) and 2 the exhaust will get a bit louder simply because it's more free flowing. Big plus is u get a bit more power with the stage 2 map. Probably around 10-15bhp which will tickle around the 400 mark
You already were running Ultima 2 or 2+ before, that map is actually a stage 2 map too, so it will benefit of the sports cat, it will eliminate that throttle response lag. I don't see why you wouldn't add a sports cat. JUST DO IT! :)
@@CarFocused: Then run the normal Ultima 2. It is the map that puts the less stress on the turbo according to the Dreamscience guys. My thinking is that you don't want to go too far and stress the car :) So just add a sports cat to compliment the normal 2 map. My plan is to do your build + an intercooler(and pipes) and run the 2 on a Daily, and the 3 on special occasions :).
When Barclays shit bank cough up what they owe me, (they keep saying it's in the post), then I might buy one but I've noticed F Types are getting very near the 2nd hand price of an RS. On another note a Mk2 passed me today & when he braked for the corner it was like an AK47.

My rs has the basically the same upgrades cost £8 extra on insurance but if something was to happen they only put standard bits back on blaggers cheers steve 😀
Mine is on a bmw 3 series, i sent it back finally with a lot of complaining and they done some work on it and sent it back, i fitted it back on and its even worse. You wouldn’t believe the loudness its so loud and drones at all speeds, doesn’t suit the car . Glad yours is ok but mine terrible .
@@CarFocused the clubs don't seem to meet up in my area and i don't really do evening events iam in surrey ..iam thinking Sunday morning for breakfast I've been to a couple of meets but not really a mk3 RS thing going on!
