One of the things I like about Lee is he has a music store and a guitar company. He still wants to talk to people about their cool gear that he doesn’t make or doesn’t sell.
@@MoreMeRecording well sure. Both channels are a reflection of the idea that building a solid online presence through engaging content is better for business than just trying to sell products in every clip. It’s not even really a high minded moral stance. They’ve just avoided the knee jerk “corporate marketing” tendency to avoid mentioning anything they can’t specifically monetize. That’s ok though. It’s refreshing to me when something on RU-vid DOESN’t leave a bad taste in my mouth. Ya know?
Never heard of Tora before this, but am now a fan. Great player, lovely person and fantastic chops on the guitar. Think I'll get a Boiler Room ticket as its local 🙂
Funny moment ... I was watching on RU-vid but using the "l" to skip ahead and between skips I got Lee saying "I know the shapes but we're not the same shape".
she is a beautiful and talented black musician on the inside into a beautiful and talented blonde white musician on the outside...😊😊😊😊 Love her playing, really she plays with a unique feeling, one of a kind...😊
Just watched the whole video. That's the best bass face on a guitar player ever! If she got together with a certain Julia it would be like seeing double. Now a fan...
First time listening Tora for a moment a thought i was listening Eva Cassidy . May just me thinking this but the Blues guitar playing style , voice remember me the song Fever in the album Night Bird or the album Chuck Brown & Eva Cassidy. Defenitly i will be adding Tora to my listening list
Great song! Great playing! You can tell that her entire life and professional persona revolves around her sexuality, however. Its weird and off putting. But the music is GREAT!
@@eskilseter Nope. The only rock band that vividly describes having sex with another person is steel panther. And their whole persona is that they are a joke. This is a woman being promoted to fill a diversity quota. She is also a joke, and her sales numbers will reflect that. She could’ve done the Frankie goes to Hollywood/ INXS thing, and made it subtle. But that wouldn’t qualify for the diversity quota.. so here we are… Focusing on who she has sex with rather than the song she’s playing, thanks to her lyrics
No, you're obsessing over her sexuality- not her. She's just doing what musicians do- writing songs about her life and what she experiences. There are countless male musicians whose entire catalogue revolves around sexuality and romance- Barry White comes to mind immediately- but I guarantee you that you never even thought about that, and it doesn't bother you. There are even more female pop stars whose career revolves around their looks and sexuality- but I doubt that ever put you off either.
