I was a member of the 'Young Alkies' section of the Queen's support in the late 80's and early 90's. Never forget that night at Ibrox in the SKOL cup! Even back then, Keith was a legend. Unfortunately I had to stop coming to the games due to work commitments but I always still check how the Spiders are doing. Great to see Keith looking so well. These are very exciting times for Queens. Eddie Hunter's black and white army! ALLEZ LES HOOPS!!!

Brought up in Mt Florida in the days of “gies a lift ower mister” at the turnstiles, I had the great pleasure of watching Queens - and Scotland - many times in my primary school days. Unfortunately at over 6ft by the time I was 12 and moved on to Queens Park Secondary School, these days had come to a premature end, and I had moved onto “getting in for the last twenty” when the gates were opened for disappointed fans leaving early. When we were all about ten or eleven, we boys used to go down to the training games in the car parks outside the main stand and act as ballboys. I even got a game as goalie one night! These were the days of 130,000 crowds, and, living in Cathcart Road, we had a grandstand view of them. In later years, I was in the 132000 the night Celtic played Leeds in the European Cup - scary! As an adult, I watched many Queens’ matches from the front of the main stand. It was so easy - leave home in Giffnock at 14:30; drive down and park under the main stand; in and watch the match; back out to the car and home by just after 5pm! Just before I moved away from Scotland in 1984, I had one season when I managed to attend every home match - even dragging my poor old Dad down for the New Years Day game! Great to see the video - and to know the team is thriving. Good luck to all at Queens!

Maybe it makes financial sense to play at Lesser Hampden

Some quite prophetic comments.

How ridiculous that they couldn't get fans in. Hampden on a match day is probably the most sparsely populated area of Glasgow..

It’s the original Queen’s Park without the added raisins
