What lies beyond the boundaries of the universe? If it's simply "nothing," how do we even define "nothing"? Join me as we embark on an exploration into the mysteries of the cosmos, spanning from its inception to the far reaches of time itself.

kind of crazy all this expertise and talent looking far far away as we destroy our own little planet at an ever increasing rate

"What’s Beyond The Edge Of The Observable Universe?".. Nothing till they make a better telescope that'll see even further.. then it'll be like like every advance in seeing further they made so far - wow we didnt know that was there

Lol, yeah basically. But being we’ve looked as far back as light has has enough time to travel….I think we’ll be waiting a lot longer as the human lifespan vs the sheer amount of time needed to back up the travel distance of light, lol well let’s just say the universe has got us beat on that one.

You don't understand you cannot have telescope "big" enough because light beyond the OU will NEVER BE ABLE TRAVEL to the telescope (universe is extending)..very basic physics

@@MrEnjoivolcom1even if we live for trillion years, uni is expending at faster rate than speed of light (speed of light only apply IN space/time) so at,beyond that point we will NEVER be able to see it because light will never be able to travel from A to B😊

So if the observable universe is measured from our solar system, does that mean if we could send a telescope to the far edge of the observable universe we could see double the distance?

@@byjamesosborne James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), in its first glimpse of the distant universe, unveiled six massive ancient galaxies ( “universe breaker”) defying all expectations. These galaxies formed when the universe was just 3% its current age, and appear up to 100 times more massive than standard cosmological theories predict. I wouldn't be so certain about that 13.8 BLy theory, at least I'd consider that coupled with what we know about the number of supermassive structures, their enormous scale, the billions of galaxies, trillions of stars, that number you mentioned, seems impossibly too small and even doubling it, wouldn't come close to a more accurate approximation. Furthermore, the concept of what is not possible, is what has driven the greatest minds of all time, you really shouldn't be so dismissive. For such an obviously intelligent person as yourself, it would seem to be... counter intuitive.
@mrhassell

Yes! Thats correct. Only, theres one 'minor' problem, how does one traverse a distance of 93 Billion Light Years? (1 Ly = 5,878,625,373,183.6 Miles) Overcome that, and you've done it!

If you Spacewarped to the edge, you might see the Sol system in ALL directions. Or maybe even ALL POSIBLE worldlines through the various Multiverses.

Leyman question here, but how plausible (or even possible) is it that all of the galaxies in the observable universe came from a much larger object that went ultranova or something like that? I'm talking about a universe in which what we see around us is actually MUCH smaller than we tend to think, relatively speaking, and that the universe is full of these leviathan objects, possibly billions or trillions of times more massive than even the most massive black holes we've seen, but they're way too far away for us to see. Can that be ruled out?

Not even have we scratched the surface…because we don’t truly know what’s beyond out there. We can make very accurate and educated guesses as to what’s most probable to be found out there. But until we see it ourselves, we’ll never absolutely know 100%.

That's right. Based on science, we will improve the accuracy in each argument. One day soon, I believe the universe will be discovered. But perhaps it's time for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be born
