FYI, the orange truck pulling the oversize load you passed has a RU-vid channel call C1 Specialized Heavy Haul Trucking. It was really cool to see two channels I follow actually run across each other. What are the chances. LOL
Hi Kevin&Co, thought you had a beard and moustache 😂but it was only the reflection of you're front screen you rascal you had me on the morse code,I said Kevin must be smart😂then the penny dropped keep them coming best driving on you tube regards from Scotland 🚛🚛🇬🇧🏴🙏
Thanks guys. I’m in Sullivan Missouri at Pilot with a load headed down to El Paso. I keep my eye out for you as I drive. I’m in. Knight Truck so if you see a dude waving and honking it could be me. Stay safe.
This brings back memories when my wife would get into stuff when she would be on the truck with me when we were trucking I love it that you and Tanya are there with each other
I hate a new, unexpected noise, whether a squeak, a whistle, a beep, or a chime. The last 5 or 6 new trucks I had before retirement were all Volvos, and they have a habit of the seatbelt unbuckled sensor going bad, So, every couple of model years they changed the warning sound. Last one, the first day I had it, I just unplugged the sensor, bent a paperclip, stuck it in the plug to complete the circuit, and no more issues.
I'm sure a lot of people know it but I did not know there was a town called Crete. I don't know the backstory because I'm from the East Coast doing Northeast Regional. On the Freightliner you're able to get to the inverter through the side compartment on the side of the truck. You don't have a compartment door outside to get in towards the inverter hammer and oil and windshield washer fluid? Good video as always
@@TheJoyofTrucking your welcome that ok that it been a while since you got to pa where do you delivery to more how many states have been to delivered in
@@tmo.48 Thanks! I agree! I thought I was doing pretty well. Especially how few pairs of shoes I bring along. 😆😆😆Kevin keeps a close eye on the amount of ‘stuff’ and promotes minimalism. 🥴
@@mikewatson4644 Yes. And I tried. Showing what was on the bunk was important to me because people have asked questions about it. Kevin didn’t point out my ‘bed head’ as he filmed. By the time I saw it there was no way to edit the clearing of the bunk without showing my ‘bed head.’ I wasn’t going to ‘do it over with good hair’ since this is ‘real’ trucking. And bad hair is often part of it. It was more important to me to show the content than ‘protect my image’. I knew there’d probably be some comments about it. But, luckily, my self worth isn’t based on people’s opinion about my hair. 😁
The longest load I have seen was being taken from out near Ruff and Ready island west of Stockton, Ca. to the wind farm on the Altamont pass is my guess It was a single blade for a windmill. It had to be well over a hundred foot long It had steering wheels near the back in a couple of places of that long load setup.
No! I get the glove box! 😆 Ge gets the top bunk and all storage compartments (though most of those are work or food/cooking related). That’s why ALL my stuff is at the end of the bed.
Yeah…thanks. Already own one. But, I agree…that was not a good hair day. That’s why the title and description mentions it. Real trucking. Bad hair day. Luckily our channel isn’t fashion focused. 😆😁I’d have less to do if I didn’t make a RU-vid channel and answer silly comments. 😁 Maybe then I could focus on being eye Candy. 🤔🤔🤔 Oh…wait. Other channels have that covered.
😊I’m sure that was said with love, what a stinker! Tanja, tune them out. It’s difficult to be on the cover of Vogue when you’re on the road 650 miles a day, turn around and do it again, and again. I prefer my trucks to insensitive jerks.
