N64/ps1/ps2/GameCube/Xbox. Before games came half made and the campaigns/story modes were the main focus. Something about getting a new game around that era was special. Now I don’t even like to turn on my ps5 because it’s going to need 2 hours of updates and charge my account for some shit
SNES or PS2 This is coming from someone who’s first console was N64 (I played SNES at my cousins). Just objectively looking at the eras, they got that.
