I've had 3, I currently have a 77, I had a 75 and a different 77 back in the day, and about 12 other square body variants, I just love that era of GM vehicles.
the full converts also dont have the lowered footwell for back passenger. The grills are same 73-74. 75-76, and 77-79. the 79 and 80 have different headlight trim that had a piece of trim around the turn signal. 80s have a unique grills 1 year only and 80s has square lights in the upper models but cheaper ones had round and used the same headlight trim as the 79. 78 was first year of a gas doors over the fillers in the trucks im not sure on the blazer. I love square bodies.
@corysgarage3928 yeah I got to get my bronco done when I can get started on it. I'm going to try that setup. I was also told to have the tips past the body a few inches
I would of changed the title to K 5 Blazer what is the difference so when someone is searching for a video for a K 5 it would pop up. But there is some good info if someone is thinking about buying one. I never thought about a convertible frame being different.
