Hey Glenn! In general no....now keep in mind, if you do a brownfield upgrade to S/4 it does not turn on New GL Functionality (which is Parallel Ledgers and Document Splitting) as part of the upgrade, that would still be a separate project AFTER the upgrade. Yes, you will get the Universal Journal and the realtime postings with the upgrade. If you do a Greenfield upgrade, you can configure that functionality as a part of the implementation.
@@diondicristofaro7552 Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate it and understand this is now a multi project approach. I think we are a couple years away from S4 and the Greenfield vs Brownfield conversations will be interesting ones I am sure. Trying to figure out if anything in the interim makes sense and would ease the change management path.
