Before he got the boot, that defense was UNSTOPPABLE, opposing QBs literally had no chance whatsoever to maintain drives.... and it still ended up being one of the all time greats without him

Georgia was very fortunate to Win. The QB for Kentucky is below Avg, a poor passer and when the Bulldogs go to Bama and play like that, Alabama will win by 14.

I still think Kirby changed the Offense against Ky because BVG and JDJ knows the playbooks on both sides of the ball! When you line up and players knows the plays and tendencies on the other team it’s a disadvantage for Ga ! I believe Ga will show up in Ala

@showtale8325 1) nobody had to "expect" it pre-game, they know how to read formations and tendencies same as our players do. If you watch closely you can see the UK players signaling shifts several times during the game. 2) Bobo and UGA in general -- really, this is true of all college football -- doesn't call a play with only one concept. Yes, the O-line, TE & RB can only run one blocking concept at a time, but the route runners are typically flooding a certain zone (since so much zone is played in college). Which route Carson targets is largely on him and the amount of time he has. You saw a lot of these safety valves because the O-line got absolutely worked.

It's probably more a case of Kentucky's defense playing how everyone expected them to this year. They had a clunker against SC, but got it together for this game. That defense may turn out to be elite.

I couldn’t believe how bad we blocked on the perimeter and at the point of attack for a majority of the game. Beck has not been a complete player for some reason. Makes some really good throws, then just misses. Should have more consistency by now. And may have been the worst game tackling I’ve seen by our D in a long, long time.

Remember, KY has only been tough the past 3 times we played them in Lexington, but they usually get spanked when they come to UGA. The last 4 games in Athens we beat them 52-13; 30-13; 21-0; and 42-13. I'm confident Kirby will make sure the Dawgs play MUCH better against Bama.

This is going to be a very long season unless GA get some explosive offensive players out wide. Not sure how they beat Bama with no explosive players on offense. Think about last season against Bama when the tighten and the slot guy were hampered.

Perimeter blocking and o line not making correct decisions on who to block was very bad. Glad it was last week. We'll be aight, they have to focus on assignments and execute. They plays were there to be had, but the team didn't have any juice from the jump

I don’t understand why Frazier didn’t get more carries. He missed a block on one play, but he’s a great player. Also, I’m not sure why we kept trying to run it up the middle instead of getting it to the ends.

Beck didn’t look good but the O line particularly 71, 84, and 4 need some remedial studies in blocking. I don’t know if it was the line calls or something else but it was detrimental to the team.

Will not have elite wideouts affect us in closer games when we don’t have our All World Everything in Brock Bowers? Not recruiting highest end talent at Wr could really show. Dom is really good and Arien brings that elite speed. Colby has the size, but who on the outside can we say, on 3rd and 8 go beat your man, the ball is coming to you. As Nick Saban said, in crunch time it’s not about calling a specific play, but it’s calling a play for a specific player.

He wont fair well against this UGA defense this year. With Mykel and Warren back for the Bama game too? Bama is going to struggle and Milroe can't do it all himself. Y'all better hope UGA offense comes out flat like they did against Kentucky, otherwise it wont be much of a game. Playing Bama this go around is a completely different scenario than last season.

Keep it 100%. UGA O-line and D-line are way overrated. Milroe is a far superior QB runner than Vandagriff..remove the sacks and UGA gave up a 5.0 yds per carry to Kentucky. Yikes.

Imo, we are way too conservative on offense early in games. Beck has not shown an ability to consistently hit the deep ball. Must be able to hit that deep pass to loosen up the defense.

Bobo calls a play where the outside tackle is uncovered. No receiver on that side, no TE. My understanding is it's illegal to pass out of this formation. And yes, it's always the same running play. The formation was the same one where UGA scored it's only TD vs Kentucky. Go back and look. Bobo is telling defenses presnap that it's a running play. Bobo has to go. The definition of insanity applies to Bobo. He won't change. UGA deserves better. Yet those defending Bobo are the same ones who defended Willie Martinez years back.

Mike Bobo is the problem. He is still running the same offense he ran with Richt 15 years ago. His play calling is painfully predictable and his obsession with screen passes to wide receivers behind the line of scrimmage is maddening. Arian Smith is the fastest player on the team and I don't think he stretched the field one time against UK. I think every pass to him was behind the line of scrimmage or within 5 yds of the line of scrimmage. Bobo also loves to run into a stacked box, especially when the defense is selling out to stop the run. In the SEC championship game, Bobo pretty well abandoned the pass for two and a half quarters, effectively shutting down the Georgia offense. Bobo is awful and Georgia will not win another championship of any kind with him as offensive coordinator.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing at first, but I watched the film study and BoBo was called like 3-4 plays that were big tds and like 6-7 explosive plays that would have worked if the oline and tights ends would have blocked even the tiniest bit 😢

Georgia is good, but they have not looked great this year so far. Really come on now, I like them just as much as you two do, but they are not "Great"! Not yet, their lines of scrimmage play has to be more consistent.

All of season I said the same thing…. Will UGA be as productive offensively without Bower and Ladd? And will they be better up front on defense?? Both of which got exposed vs UK. Georgia has had maybe 2 solid quarters total offensively. O line played like shit vs UK, and the D Line lacks depth. As a Bama fan I refuse to sleep on UGA but I feel much more confident about the 28th.

UGA has the talent, and once the start clicking its gonna be game over for the rest of teams this year. The RB alone when they are fully healthy will be huge later the in season. UGA just has to put it together because our defense is NFL caliber this year. We get the offense and defense working on the same vibe, UGA wins the natty this year

@@DavidPollackCFB There are some outstanding “playmakers” at QB that is far better than Beck this year. Who was the top 3 QB’s selected last year in the draft. Caleb, Jalen, Nix…all playmakers that quickly adapted to the NFL offenses with their abilities. They are all starting.

Yall really got to let that shit go. 1) When he said Georgia was the best team in the country. 2) Bama even before Saban left was not the same dominant Bama we were used to seeing for all of those years. 3) They are called talking heads for a reason. Thats what they get paid to do. Saban is now one of them. He said some things that at the time seemed spot on but ended up being debatable or even flat out wrong. I remeber early last season when everybody buried Bama after struggling with some teams that were beneath them. They beat Usf by 14, Arkansas by 3, and A&M by 6. Auburn by 6 at tje end of the game. Milroe got pulled only to get put back because he was the best option. Bama fans crucified him. They said Saban got soft. Ultimately they ended up having a good season. So let it play itself out and either gloat or make excuses.

I want to know why do we routinely wait until the second half to show up or decide we actually want to play. It’s pathetic we actually have a reputation for that. That has everything to do with coaching and nothing about talent. Would a professor encourage you to wait until night before exam to start studying? I don’t think our players respect Kirby, especially with the 25 arrests alone this year. Something isn’t right and it’s not just the Kentucky game.
