Thanks for the awesome tour. Florida & Bahamas…hurricane corridor? 🤔Arizona…tornadoes? Dubai seems appealing but what social mores would I have to adapt? What US customs would I have to surrender to live within a community there? California shocked me the most. The little house there could fit in my basement in Metro Atlanta. Actually in the garage as well. But Marbella, WoW! I need to know what the cons are living there because I can sell my home and buy there and have savings left.
As a Melbournian. Listening to you butcher the names of the places these houses were....but nice try though. The inner suburbs (closer to the city) the houses are very pricey. Though decent 4 bedroom house with a decent sized front and back garden can fetch anywhere between 500-700k AuD and thats in the outer suburbs bordering on woop woop The place shown in Tucson was beautiful. I loved how all the houses were spaced out and how they seemed to be part of the forest/greenery. i'm a sucker for the green which is why I could never live in the city
I just want a new home, or remodel of my home, on the property where I live. I don’t want to live anywhere near the city. I love the country life. I would have change left over, for whatever I wanted to spend it on.
Buy a home together with your adult children. Everyone puts in the same amount. Buy a home to suit everyone and space for everyone…including grandchildren when they grow up.
#2 is the only one that comes close to something that I would want. Everything else is too close to other people if I can stand on the roof and see the neighbor they're too close
