Lionel Richie said the original title of this song was “Baby”, but when talking to Kenny Rogers, Kenny kept saying how much his wife was a lady. He said this over and over again. So when Kenny asked Lionel what is the name of the song you wrote ? Lionel said “Lady”!!!!! Lol This is a true story.
